..::Julia Rymen::.. Julia hopped quickly out of the wamr shower, into her bed room and into her clothes. Her long black sleeve turtleneck clung to her wet skin. Running her hands against her pants, she grabbed the remote to her radio and lciked the button that turned the thing on. The local party station played through her apartment room at a low level as he mother was still asleep. The onyl other person up was her 'cousin' Daimen. They weren't really related, but Daimen was Julia's mother's friend's child. So they just called each other cosins as they were raised like siblings, but didn't spend every moment in each other's presents growing up. They would talk later, but right now she still had to mange other thigns first. Like fixing her wet hair. It was going to be cold today, so she couldn't do a pony tail. So it would be just plain mousse for today.
Once Julia reamerged from the bathroom she gave a small smile at Daimen who was munching on a bowl on cerel and starring blankly at the T.V. She guessed he changed while she was in the bathroom as her friend was already dressed.
"Morning." She said while moving into the small kitchen and grabbing her own bowl of cerel. she jsut got a gruff resonse from him like she sucspeccted. Daimen was always quiet around Julia, like as if she calmed him. He did get pretty pissed at the smallest thigns, but he was getting better at it Julia noticed. She turned off the kitchen light and joined Daimen on the couch. They sat in silence. It was awkard silecne either, just a nice quiet silence.
"Come on. Let's go outside and play in the snow." It didn't matter to Julia that she was eighteen, she still enjoyed playing in the snow. From snowmen to snowangels, Julia enjoyed making art with the light fluffy rain, even if it was art of war during a snowball fight. She slipped her coat on, as well as her hat and grabbed a pen and wrote on the paper towl she had used for eating her cereal. On it, she wrote that her and Daimen were out, left it on the table of her mother to find later. She grabbed a pair of gloves and opened her creamish colored door and ushered Daimen out before he could change his mind.

..::Daimen Carter::.. Daimen sighed when he heared his friend, Julia, turn on the shower. Before she had inturupted his sleep, Daimen had been having the perfect dream. He had been in the Bahams and there was no snow in sight. It wasn't that he hated the snow, it was jsut that he perfered hot days on the beach instead. It was too cold where they were. Then there was the issue of ice. Daimen couldn't even count how many times he had fallen from the slippery, frozen liquid. Right now though, it was running water, steaming from the shower head that woke him up. Daimen's dark eyes opened as he lazily pushed himself up from the couch into a sitting postion.
At first, Daimen didn't know what to do. He was at Julia's house because his mom was out of town for a few days, so he was staying with Carla-Julia's mom- and her daughter. It wasn't so bad. The two acted like siblings, fighting and playing together all the time. He rubbed his fisted hands against his eyes, rubbing away the sleep. He stood up and shuffled his way into their small, clean kitchen. He ehared the bathroom door open and could feel the steam from the hot shower burst out, but Daimen called out no greeting. He was tired, but Julia would have woken him up eventually. He wasn't a great morning person. The eighteen year old grabbed his breakfeast and wabbled back to the couch and flicked on the small T.V. He scrolled through the morning channels untill he settled in on one of the news channels.
Sooner then he knew it, Julia was up and ready to go romp around like a young foal. Daimen just went alogn to make sure she didn't get herself killed. Julia could entertain herself with anything, Diamen was just protection from creeps and the other likes. He only grunted his own "morning" when his friend said hers. They didn't talk at all as he waited for her to finish her food. Daimen was ready, shoes and all. To confese, he liked being outside better then in her small apartment. There wasn't much to do. So he held in his excitment when the black haired- secret blond- offered to go outside. Daimen caved and soon the two were making thier way towards the stretch of blank snow fields.
Daimen's breath came out in a cloud of steam as he entered the woods silently beside Julia. He didn't notice, Julia had dropped back. Only hearing his own set of boots crunching againt the snow, Daimen looked for Julia. She was no where. His brow furrowed as he thought to as where he had last seen her. It was awhile ago.
"Julia-" a sharp, cold, slap like burn to the face jostled him. The snow fell from his face as he turned to glare at her. Oh yeah she had started it. Bending down, Daimen grabbed a handfull of snow and was already chasing after Julia, folowing her steps weaving in and out of the trees. He chucked one snowball after the other when ever he came close, onyl landing about half of them actully touching her. Throwing one though, it veered off track as Daimen didn't care where it really went. The ball went over a bush, but never touched the ground. Julia's eyed widened as she knew what he had hit. Sighing, the brown haired young adult waltzed over to her to see what he had hit. On a back of a girl's(Morgan If that's ok) jack was a small circle patch of snow.
"Hey, uh sorry if I hit you." Daimen said, not noticing the girl had her headphones in. Her back was to him and Julia and all he could see was her long, black hair.

.:Tamesis Daniel Williams:.Tamesis walked down the snow covered path, his gloved hands stuffed in his pockets. The frozen lake stretched out before him, framed by the mountains on the other side. He stopped at where the path ended, a smile creeping up onto his face. He watched the skaters on the ice for a few minutes, leaning against a tree on the side of the path. He laughed despite himself when two of them collided, and headed towards them. His snow boots were made for places like Windsor, so they had great grip so he didn't fall on the ice as he made his way towards them. Recognising them as Brittany and L, he slowed down once he was a few metres away, skidding slowly to a halt. "Any closer and then I would wish that I had brought my video camera" he said, grinning. "How you two doing then? Apart from nearly crashing that is" he added with a shake of his head. His eyes wandered over to the far side of the lake, where the ice was thinner. Lately he had taken to diving below the surface of the ice covered water. The adrenaline rush was amazing, despite the need of a foil cover nearby once he had got out. The rush was worth it though.
He shifted slightly, and felt his foot slip from benieth him. Regaining posture after wobbling for a second, he chuckled and ran a hand through his hair. "I'm not one for ice skating, I've never been good on the ice."
.:Mogan Eva Williams:.Morgan sat at her log, her ipod headphones stuffed into her slightly pink ears. In her mind, she had already formed the beginnings of a dance routine to some song, when she felt something collide into the back of her neck. A milisecond later did she recognise the cold. Jumping up unnaturally fast, her hands zooming to her neck, she spun around, a look of horror mixed with fury etched upon her usually calm features. "What the fu-" she shouted, breaking off however as she realised who had thrown the snowball. Her eyes wide, her mouth snapped shut. Her eyes flickered from Damien to Julia, comprehension catching up with her. She always felt...jealous of Julia for some reason. Not enough to hate her, but enough to stay away from her. She always thought that because they lived together that they were...more than just friends.
"I'm going to have to get you back someday Damien" she muttered, hoping around on the spot to try and move the small patches of snow that had fallen down her spine. Shivering, but smiling all the same, she laughed, her green eyes twinkling. Seeing Morgan laugh was a rarity these days, especially with the wieght of herself, Tamesis and her mother riding on her own shoulders. Indeed, the laughter that escaped Morgans lips was slightly hollow. She wrung out her hands, and looked away from the two. "What are you doing here anyway? I didn't know that this place was so well known." Indeed, Morgan thought that she was the only one that knew about the clearing, even if it wasn't too far off the path. She felt a small dip in her heart, as if she had been intruded upon. She would have to find somewhere else to be her hideaway. Somewhere else where she can dance, be who she used to be. For an hour at least.
Morgan sighed and ran a hand through her long hair. Her thoughts fluttered to Tamesis. He didn't know where she went when she had free time, and she doubted that he even knew if she had free time. She used to spend those precious hours with Tamesis until he stopped her from doing anything normal. Everyday things such as ice skating were out of the question. "What if the ice was thin at a patch and you fell through the ice? I couldn't save you then Morgan" he would say. He was really getting to her, pushing her buttons as her late grandmother would say. The grandmother in question had died when Morgan was 8. She had taken it quite well, despite her close relationship with her. Maybe it was a sign of the loss that would come in later life...no, that would be cliche. Stuff like that only happens during the movies. The smallest of smiles tugged at the corners of her lips.

Terrible WB for Tamesis

~~~***Tamika***~~~Looking wistfully out at the lake, Tamika felt in her bag for her skates. The skates had crumpled her homework, but she had already decided to redo it later and have some fun now. She laced them up hesitantly, before stepping onto the ice and joining the other skaters out on there. Tami did some basic stuff, like skating around backwards and a basic rotation. Sliding to a halt, she watched the other skaters for a bit and groaned. They were all so good! Ice-skating was definately not one of Tami's strong sports, but she did enjoy the freedom of the ice. She didn't skate professionally, not like her other sports, but she often went to go and see them.
Continuing, she went onto slightly more advanced stuff. She completed the Camel Spin then went into a crossover as she rounded a corner, then lost her footing and slipped face first onto the ice.
//Chayse Dyre Hunter// Chayse opened the refrigerator door, bending down with one hand in her jacket pocket, looking around for food. She reached in, shuddering from the cold air inside the fridge, and grabbed a bottle of cold milk. The girl set it on the bench, lightly kicking the fridge door shut and moving back over to the milk. Her hands glided over the smooth bench top, grabbing a jar of hot chocolate powder and a beige colored travel mug. She quickly made up the contents of a nice, milky, hot chocolate, smelling it once before popping on the lid happily. With the mug in one hand, she used her left one to grab her bag and slid it onto her shoulder. A few loose strands of brown hair hung in front of her eyes and she flicked her jacket collar up to keep her neck warm. The note she had written was on the fridge for her Mum in case she came looking. Casting a final glance around the warm room, Chayse reached for the front door handle and opened the door, greeted by a freezing winter breeze. She closed the door, lifting the mug up to her lips, taking a swig to warm her now cold lips before setting off down the path. She reached into her bag tentatively, pulling out a gray beanie and slipping it over her head. Winter in Windsor was like having a blizzard all season round.
The town was covered in a fine white blanket. It was something that others might say was beautiful. It was a friendly town which always seemed so beautiful with everything that someone could hope for. However, this beauty was not overly observed by the people of Windsor as it was like being stuck in an icebox. Ixchel wandered further on, towards the lake which was fairly popular with the ice skaters. But unfortunately for Ixchel, ice didn't help the uncoordinated. She reached the group of people on the ice and veered off onto the right, finding her usual spot on a bench with a roof over the top and walls that blocked off the cold wind and snow. She sat down and reached into her bag, pulling out a large textbook, laptop and another book for studying. The girl cast a quick glance at the people around her then set her hot chocolate on the bench and opened her book, her pen soon darting across the page in her neat running writing.
{{PTHHHPFT. I had this huge post for L but then I closed out of the tab accidentally. So sorry for this crap post. :C}}
"Oh hey Tamesis." L said, her eyes twinkling. She skated in a circle and laughed. "It's a good thing you didn't bring it. Well, actually I kinda wish you did. She looked at her glove-covered fingers, not quite sure what to do with them. Her shoulders shrugged slightly and she decisively dropped them by her sides.
She breathed in the cool air and breathed out warm air onto her freezing fingers, and made a cloud of air. A smile tugged at her lips and she turned her attention back to Tamesis.
She raised her eyebrows as his gaze turned to the thinner ice. She tilted her head slightly, an owl would be proud of her, or perhaps a cat, and with a faint quirk to her lips, she proposed the question, "What are you thinking of doing?" At first she was going to ask the simple question 'yes?' but she quickly realized that it wasn't really a question and Tamesis would probably not know what she was talking about, so she changed the question.
"Well, I could teach you, but there isn't much to teach, unless you want me to show you how to figure skate..." L grinned and trailed off, laughing.
juliannaUsername:Ɖɛcɛмвɛяƨ
Full Name:julianna marcella barker
Nickname:jules, juli
Gender:female
Age:17
Personality:Jules is the type of girl that you would expect to be outgoing. She almost seems like she would be optimistic and extrovetic. She portrays a type of air that may cause you to belive something like such. But, in all honesty, she is an introvert at heart. She wraps herself away in poetery and writing - she's a natural artist. She could sit in front of a canvas for hours and not paint it. Leave the room for thirty minutes and come back, and viola, a masterpiece. Julianna is different in this way - it takes her more time to create an idea in her head then to create it on canvas. She is also a very graceful dancer, which also leads her to be a fairly well ice skater as well. How ever, Juli is barely a performer. She'd rather simply shut everyone out from her world and hide her talents from everyone else. Keeps to herself. A lot of people mistake her for a snob - she has very few close friends and isn't someone who starts conversations. If you were to sit next to her, she probably wouldn't utter a word, even if you acknowleged her. And, if she even bothered to answer, you probably wouldn't have heard her. She has a soft voice that's almost like a whisper in the fierce wind, and it's so quiet because it has never been excercized daily. Sometimes, she can go days without speaking. Anything you need to know about her you can find in her writing and paintings, and if you're lucky enough to watch her skate or dance, you can piece together some parts of her personality.
History:Juli has lived with her father since she was thirteen years old. Her mother...wasn't as respondsible as a parent should be. She loved Jules, of course. Her mother loved Julianna more then she loved herself sometimes. But, she had a problem. A lot of people had fathers with alcohol addictions. But Juli's parent that had been taken from her by alcohol was her mother. Every night, her mother would be hitting the clubs and coming hom at one a.m. drunk and stumbling around, usually not even being able to remember her own name. And, most times, Jules was the one taking care of her mother, rather then vice versa. Juli would lay with her tell her soothing things until her mother was sober enough to remember where she was, and who she was. And then Juli would spend the next day nursing her back to health, just to have to do it all over again the very next night. Jules felt as if her mother was just going through a hard time in her life, and she took it upon herself to be the respondsible one, even if she was only a child. But, things started to get worse as Julianna grew older. Her mother began going out earlier and staying out later, and sometimes she'd even bring home a...guy friend. And though Julianna became accustumed to this, soon things began to get out of hand. One day, her father came to call, just to check up on his beloved daughter. Juli's mother had banned him from coming by more then once a year, in fear that he'd find her drunk and take Jules away. Most times when he came, she was noticeably sober. But, on this day, she was hungover. He walked in the room to find her lying on the couch, bottles strewn around her as she mumbled nonsense and screamed insanties and profanties. Jules sat in a chair next to her, holding a cold cloth to her head and making soft shushing noises. That was enough for Juli's father. He took her away the next morning to live in a safer enviorment, and Julianna hadn't heard from or seen her mother since.
Other:she can speak very fluent italian - something she learned from her father.
