to her waist. She has hazel eyes, but when
she is using her ability, they become a

Clara Grainger
Tucking a few stray hairs behind her ears, Clara took a deep breath and pushed open the doors of her school. As per usual, the chatter of hundreds of teenagers surrounded her. She fought her way through crowds of students and finally arrived at her locker. Dialling the combination, she opened the metal door. A picture of her cat, Sky, stared out at her from the inside of the locker door, held in place by a small magnet. Clara checked her timetable and groaned. Algebra II first period. Great, she thought, and clutching her schoolbooks, headed up the stairs to the classroom.

Jace Parker; 16; at school
"Bye mom!" Jace called to his mother before opening the front door of his home. He could hear the sound of her cleaning the dishes in the sink, and he waited a moment for her to reply. But she didn't. "I love you." he added while stepping outside onto his front porch and waiting just a little longer. And again, she was quiet. With a sigh he closed the door and hurried down the street in the direction of his school. He only lived a few minutes away, but for some reason, he was always a little late.
