You’ve always been a little different from the other kids at school. Everyone else just seems so… normal, compared to you. But recently, these feelings have started growing stronger. Maybe you’ve been having strange dreams. Maybe you’ve been distancing yourself from your friends and family. Whatever it is, you can tell that you definitely are different. You’re dangerous. You start to develop powers, but you don’t know how to control them. You can tell no one about what’s happening to you – not even your parents or your friends.
Your only hope of training your powers and understanding what you are, is to find others like yourself. And little do you know that more teenage ‘monsters’ like you attend your high school. But when you band together with them, will you get along? Or will you cause even more destruction? It’s up to you.

• Drama is perfectly fine. Don’t be afraid to introduce a new plot or conflict!

• You can make your own form, but please include the basics in the provided form. Your form can be as short or long as you want it to be.
• You don’t have to wait for me to accept you! We can start when we have three characters.

The Basics. “Hello there, I’m Clara Grainger. I’m currently in Grade 10, which would make me 15 years old. I’m pretty quiet, and I have trouble making friends. I’m nice, I guess, but I generally try to stay away from people, especially kids my age. I have long, straight red hair and grey eyes. I’m tall for my age, which doesn’t really help with blending in. I usually wear skinny jeans, a black top and lots of jewelery.”
The Powers. “I’ve always been sort of tuned in with the weather. I can always tell when a rainstorm’s due to start, and I know when it ends. Recently, I’ve discovered that I can manipulate storms with my mind. I’ve been able to stop them or extend them, and even change how hard the rain falls or when lightning strikes. Now, if I try hard enough, I can create storms. I don’t do it too often, as I don’t want to attract any attention.”
The Backstory. “I don’t have a sob story or a particularly interesting history. I’m an only child, and I have kind, albeit distant, parents. We live on the top floor of an apartment that’s a few minutes from my high school. I have a pet cat. Her name’s Skyline, but we call her Sky for short. She’s a grey tabby with golden eyes. I’d probably consider her my best friend.”
The Friends. “I’ve never had a (human) best friend, but there are a few kids I sit with at lunch. I’m more on the fringe of the group, but I’m grateful that they don’t ignore me or treat me like a freak. I’m not dating anyone (obviously) nor do I have a crush on someone. I’m afraid of being emotionally attached to someone, because I don’t want to hurt them.”

Theodore Luke Harbour

Hello there, I'm Theodore Harbour. Bit of a mouthful, huh? Just call me Theo. I'm your average sixteen year old boy. Well, not average, but I'm a sixteen year old boy. Let's leave it there. People call me friendly, quirky and nerdy, and those are definitely terms that I'd describe myself with. What do I look like? Well, I have light hair - kind of silver, I think, and blue eyes. I'm pretty tall, I guess, five foot ten. And clothing? Huh, yep, here's where the nerdy kicks in. I'm always wearing a Doctor Who shirt or a Night Vale hoodie over jeans and, shoutout to the Tenth Doctor, red Converse shoes. Yup, Whovian and Night Valian extraordinaire - that's me.
Like I said before, I'm a genuinely nice person. I mean, I probably get on people's nerves because I'm a little clingy at times, but that's just because I'm overly friendly. I don't have a crush or a boyfriend right now - yeah, I said boyfriend - but hey, anything can happen, right?
Wh - huh? What's that? You want to know about my... powers? Wait, who told you I had powers? Why would you think that? Okay, fine. I, uh, I can understand any language - like, everything, even ones I've never heard of - and I have supersonic hearing and sharp long-distance sight. Weird, I know. But it's sure useful in French class.
I live in a small Victorian-style house with my maternal grandparents, as my own parents were killed in a car crash when I was three years old. No, it's fine, don't worry about me. I've coped. Our house is a fifteen-minute drive away from the highschool. It's my first year at this school, as we recently moved here from the quiet city of Victoria, British Columbia. I still miss home - I grew up in BC and left a lot of friends behind, but at least I was able to bring my dog, Fisher. He's a big, clumsy Golden Retriever puppy and absolutely adorable.
Well, that's really it. I'm probably forgetting something - or a lot of things - but you'll find out waaay more about me when you get to know me! See you around.

Jace is very tall and has light brown hair and eyes. His skin is also rather pale,
and he has a few hidden scars on his body from accidentally burning himself.

He is a rather friendly kid who enjoys brightening people's day. He can have random
mood swings and times, and when he gets angry... he gets angry.

History:
Since he was little Jace always knew that something was different about him.
He was never cold, his body was always warm-to-the-touch, and whenever he
got angry, things would go terribly wrong. He and his parents don't have the
best relationship, since they have always been a little scared of him. Well,
who wouldn't be? He was different.

Jae is a slim young man with pale skin, fiery orange hair,
and dark chocolate brown eyes. When he is in his 'infected' form
his eyes will turn purple.

History:
When Jae was little he used to live in South Korea. By the
age of 8 he was infected by a virus called VBT-01 or the 'vampire' virus.
For the people infected, in their human forms they look like normal human beings,
but when in their inflected forms, their eyes change color, their veins turn a dark purple,
their whole bodies become a sickly pale color, and they grow claws that could easily pierce skin.
They also gain inhuman strength and just the lightest smell of blood can stir up their monstrous
hunger. To protect him, his parents created a special capsule medication that can keep
his cravings to a minimum.
Other:
Jae has no scents of taste for normal food, only blood, but he still eats it anyways. Also, his eyes are very sensitive
to the sun and bright lights so he often wheres sunglasses when he traveling around outside.

Kyle's ability allows him to minipulate any kind of fluids. He is able to breath under water, but he himself cannot become water. He isn't able to control weather, but he can make use of the rain that falls from the sky. One of the most unique aspects of his powers is that he can minipulate the fluids within another humanbeing.

History
{ Grew up in a fairly wealthy family, but wasn't spoiled. His father worked as a surgeon in the local hospital, his mother was an art teacher at the high school. They lived in London until Alex turned school age, when his dad was offered a job in Canada. They moved out there and on his first day of school Alex met the friends that would stay with him until sophomore year of high school. They did everything together, and when his mum died, his friends were there, supporting him. It wasn't until the year after that everything changed. His friends ditched him. He was still hurting over the loss of his mother. Then, one day, he completely lost it. He ran off into the forest bordering his house and, anger coursing through his veins, he shifted into a wolf. He didn't know how it happened, or why, but he knew he couldn't tell his father, hides it at school. The shifting only happens with extreme emotions, such as anger or sadness, but he's learning to control it to a degree}
Personality
{ Smart, socially awkward but outgoing once you get to know him, Alex is the typical 'nerd'. He even wears glasses. He has a tendency to point out the bad in everything, which most consider pessimistic but he just calls 'realistic'. He tends to stumble over his words in uncomfortable situations- highschool was pretty dull when you couldn't speak a full sentence to ask a girl or guy out. Since his powers have revealed themselves, he's starting to come out of his shell a little more. He doesn't really trust easily, and after getting ditched at 15 by what friends he had, he became pretty untrusting. He's actually a pretty funny guy, but most don't get to see his funny side. }
