so i have always used this to help my coding skills get better, but recently i have been seeing a lot of people signatures with gifs that have transparent lines in them. does that even make sense? i would show an example, but i don't want to copy and paste someone's coding work.

The coding for my siggie was actually done by someone else (I can't remember who :c Sorry if you're that person) And I've used the basic code for a number of siggies now, but I want to start making my own, and possibly one for others too, so I was wondering if someone could actually explain it to me.

That's the code, I know the dimensions required to resize the images, how to change the colours but that's pretty much it. I don't know how to use photoshop or OIE either. Is there any easier, basic photo editor that resembles OIE or Photoshop that I could start off with? I'm currently using BeFunky, which is fine, but it's only basic and I can't use gifs or overlay etc. with it.

Well, I just finished my first signature and I really love how it turned out. However, the picture on the right has white all around it and I can't seem to get that to go away. Any advice? (I'm talking about my current signature)

that usually is because it wasn't rendered properly,
because whoever rendered it didn't clean it perfectly
