Have you ever do a art trade or design trade with someone and put all you effort into it. And then when you got their half back you where dissapointed because it was just a standing pose with minnimal shading? If so should you tell the person you where dissapointed or just keep quiete and be happy they did something?

This is why I am hesitant with art trades and such like it. I mean I like the generic standing pose, but normally I try to add something to it, like a head tilt, paw up, so it looks like the character is doing something. I don't tell the person though not unless I am extremely disappointed and there is something not right. Like their examples were amazing yet the art wasn't.

I normally don't do art trades. I sometimes offer art as payment for characters, but never did a real art trade. So why? Just because I feel the other one could be disappointed. I do like my art when I finish it, but compared to what most of you here are able to do, I am such a bad artist. I would feel ashamed if I did an art trade with most of you here.

Oh I see how you would be disappointed if their other art was much better. Maybe just accept it and not do another trade with them in the future?
