Interesting Details On CS Pets & Items! (V.3)

When I first did the kirin dogs, it was probably one of my first attempts at actually editing the line art. Years later, I have grown and learned so much. I did, indeed, redo the edits on the kirin dog. They're the same kirin dog as the staff dog, but with smoother edits :3 I have the files of all of the line edits I've done over the past years, as do most of the artists with their own edited lines. I actually wasn't going to bring them back, but the staff dog seemed pretty popular, so thought it might be nice to do the kirin dogs for CNY instead of the other usual lines I do for it.

I knew they looked different! I'm not crazy. :3

I noticed the rat doesn't have a smile like most other rats
This mouth has only been used in few other cases (valentines 2014, medieval faire 2011, and some others that I can't remember off the top of my head)
And of course he has actual line edits where the clovers aren't just pelt color but morph into the actual lines ^^ which makes them look like they're being peeled off, which is awesome in my opinion

Huh I wonder why it's not smiling. I think I remember once hearing a story of how "St. Patrick" was a main who drove a bunch of rats out of ireland (or was it snakes?) but if it is rats, maybe that's why?

there seems to be hebrew letters on the tail ;o;

I know hebrew, and I think I can translate that. The symbol on the far left is a hay, which looks like this: ה The one next to it is a kaf, which looks like this (with a dot in the middle): כ The next one might be a vav ( ו ). The last letter is a samech, which looks like this: ס


Together the letters mean Sukkah.... which is used on Sukkot (another Jewish holiday), not Hanukkah. That is really weird!

This pet has broken hearts on its pelt and its eye markings are kinda like tears.

To me the eye markings look like smeared mascara

Since UR pets are literally pets that are un-released that means they could of been a pet from a litter that was never released or maybe an entire litter that was never release
So maybe, all the fruits were part of the same litter and tess decided to just release them as special pets. Then the flower and the pineapple could of been part of a litter since they grow instead of rot.
All URs and litters below are by the same artist making it more likely.

could of been part of but since it didn't fit the mainly white theme that Moonflight did she decided to leave it out of the litter. The blue on the pup's paw and the blue on the UR dog are pretty close in color code too.
