((Perfectly fine Kanzu, since I'll be increasing my own stock as this RP goes along anyway. XD))
Dusty Crophopper - Propwash Junction - Tags: Lightning
Dusty smiled as he pictured it all here, just trying to envision this Wheel Well Motel for himself, and what the view could be like from there. Of course, being a plane, he could get quite the view from above anyway, as he could simply soar over the place and take it all in. "Yeah! Yeah I'll have to do that!" Dusty agreed, nodding eagerly. "Ah yeah! Getting here early is always recommended, especially with the kinds of crowds my air shows typically draw." Dusty confessed here. "But if you're here to check out the scenery, we've got plenty of that!" he assured the race car. "It's rather beautiful out here... and really nice if you like bluffs and fields that stretch on as far as you can see!"
Lightning complimented him then, and Dusty looked away, bashful as he always was whenever someone gave him praise. "Oh! Well... thanks it was... you know... I don't know if it's that big a deal... there's plenty of other planes with much more impressive records than my own. And hey! You for example have a much longer career than I do in racing, and you've won what now? Four Piston Cups? Five? See to me, that's impressive! You've got the trophies to prove it, and I'm well... just kind of starting out, you know?" Dusty finally glanced back at Lightning here, and blinked.
"Oh yeah! So this is my town! Uh there's not a whole lot to it, but we've got your gas station over there, for all your refueling needs! We've got a local restaurant on the outskirts, Honkers, which is kind of like a sports bar, and our motel, the Landing Zone, right over there!" Dusty leveled his wing in the direction of said motel. "Everything else is just either local shops or homes. But we are going to be setting up bleachers for the spectators very soon, so those will be kind of dominating the view until I take to the air." he chuckled here. "I'm really quite pleased someone as famous as you decided to come out and see me perform! I think you're the first really high-profile guest we've had at one of these things! So make yourself at home! I think you'll find we're very hospitable here!"
Oskar - Propwash Junction - Tags: Streak, Horah, Spray, Jigsaw
"Ah! Indian!" Oskar was in the process of replying. "That would've been my second guess! And you'll have to forgive me, I'm afraid I didn't introduce myself when you asked! I'm just so forgetful sometimes!" he apologized. "I'm Oskar... Oskar von..." But he was interrupted when Streak suddenly leaped onto Horah's back, causing the hybrid to cry out in shock. Oskar gasped, and readied his guns, but relaxed upon seeing no harm coming to the big plane. For the briefest of moments, adrenaline had coursed through the old rocket, and he'd been flashed back to all those years ago in the azure skies, racing towards Allied bombers and lining up his shots... but then it had left him... and he was back here, in rural Minnesota, surrounded by waves of corn and peaceful yet majestic bluffs. He sighed, relaxing visibly.
It seemed the dragon was quite taken with this new plane, and Oskar didn't want to interrupt, so instead he focused on settling into the dolly, which was a comfortable fit. No sooner had he been locked in did he suddenly feel mobile again, and he let out a cry of elation as he did a small turn on the pavement. "Haha! YES!" he exclaimed, beaming. "I can MOVE again! Wunderbar!" he crowed, doing three more circles just to demonstrate his point. He paused at the end of the final one, and realized he'd probably drawn attention to himself. "Uh... sorry!" he quickly apologized. "I just... I can move!" he said, giving out a laugh here.
Finn McMissile - En Route to the United States
Finn couldn't help but join in a laugh as well as Shadow reminisced about that time. "Hahahaha!" he guffawed, unable to help himself. "I think they can afford to traumatize quite a lot!" he declared, back to his usual, smiling self. "An-anyway!" he stammered, quieting down so Shadow could talk. He tensed up when she mentioned a Carlisle was involved... though it was no one particularly high in the qualifying order. As she outlined what they should be doing upon arrival, the Aston Martin nodded in approval, giving her a firm look. "Yes... absolutely! We are to maintain deep cover when we arrive! As far as we know, their target could be any number of public events taking place today in the state, so we'll infiltrate whatever gathering it is, pretend we're spectators, and try and find out what we can and prevent whatever may be taking place. We'll rendezvous with the Americans as well to find out any additional information. Oh and we should know their target by the time we land... chances are they'll be there by the time we enter the United States, so we'll have a better idea of what we're dealing with when we arrive." he explained.
"Also I don't think I need to remind either of you, but just in case, when you're under cover, it's best we don't use our actual names. My name is fine, since it may or may not be my actual name after all." he grinned knowingly at the two of them. "And I always go by it on missions. I may throw out a fake last name if anyone asks, but Finn is perfectly suitable for this assignment. I trust you've both come up with aliases for field work." He knew the academy would've already imparted that to Abby, so hopefully she had a few by now.
