Koipelt looked at her paws. "I thought you would say that.. and, it's because you're my clanmate, Ravenwing. How am I not supposed to care?" She looked up at him sadly.

But ravenwing did not hear her response he was already walking away. suddenly he heard a growling sound by the bushes he was passing and a giant badger came out of the bushes it roared at Ravenwing and scratched him. Ravenwing yowled in pain and alarm. he tried to fight back but was to weak.

Koipelt growled and pounced at the badger. She bit its neck and held on, it slashed at her and growled. Koipelt raked her claws down its back, and it gave a screech.

Ravenwing was lying on the forest floor blood seeping out of his belly were the badger dug it's claw too deep

Koipelt chased the badger away, she looked at Ravenwing and gasped. Koipelt carefully picked him up onto her back, she ran back to camp. "Jayfeather! Jayfeather, where are you!"

Jayfeather looked up Swiftstar by his side "What is it??" he asked then he smelled blood "Put him in my den!" he ordered koipelt. He rushed into his den and got out the herbs he would need

Koipelt nodded and ran to his den. She set Ravenwing down and looked at Jayfeather. "I'll leave you to do your job, just please save him." Koipelt ran out of the den.

Ravenwing groaned. Jayfeather chewed up some herbs and rubbed them into the wound then he got some things to close the wound with. he soaked a piece of wet moss and dripped the water into ravenwings mouth and got some moss to put behind his head. Jayfeather came out of the den and walked up to the fresh kill pile and ate a mouse
