Her mind wanderd as she thought about the year ahead and what fun things Bill had planed for his lessons. Paige rolled her wand back and forth on her desk "How is your patronus chosen for you" She whisped quietly to herself, "Or do you just pick it out?".

"A patronus is a protector from dementors. It takes the shape of animals and can keep any amount of dementors away, if it's strong enough." Danni said, she had researched them two years ago.


"Correct! 30 points to Ravenclaw." Bill said.

"yes points! Now we have like 35!" Sandalphon whispered to herself. She would check how many they had when she got back to the common room. She sat up straight listening for what to do.

Now that everyone was in class, Draco announced the assignment. "Today we're going to learn how to brew some Murtlap Essence. Does anyone know what its used for?" he asked, looking around at the Slytherin students. Katarina knew, but she didn't raise her hand. She wanted to see if anyone else knew the answer.

Hunter was glad that Ravenclaw gained a few points back. Since Bill was talking about patronuses, he grew excited, hoping they were going to learn how to conjure one today.

"I need you to find a man named Lucius Malfoy. Ask him if he knew an Evelyn Harmonic. If he did, bring him to me, if not, let him rot there."

Danni smiled, she was glad to have more points. "Yes, we have 55 now!"

"Alright class, now today we're just going to do a simple Sleeping Draught. Directions are on the chalk board. I expect you all to do well and make very few mistakes" said Draco. He was almost positive that his Slytherin students would do better than the Ravenclaws today.
