Can I just say tHANK YOU for this thread oh my gosh the resources section is going to keep me going for so long
I've been wanting to revamp my signature for ages hopefully I can get something nice going with all this!

I normally try and help, critique and answer any questions or queries as best I can and I am sure others on here will definitely do the same :]

It looks a lot better now :)
Although, because of how big the character is on the right hand side and how small the blonde haired sailor is, it still feels somewhat uneven imagesize wise.
But apart from that, it looks vastly better than before :)

That's some rad as art right there, though I am not sure on the style you have here. Perhaps some middle coding, or middle line boarders might make it look a little better, or the coding in the middle could perhaps put the colour code between the two images complement them better?

What I mean by this is by doing a colour gradient between two different colours or making the colours emphasize drastically, so they can intertwine with the images and better off complement them..

By Gradient like style, I mean this kind of style, where the colours gradually morphed from one to another. You could do that with the grey so that it looks more blended and accepted and the feel is spread throughout the signature into a lovely design style.
Or
You can not gradient it and leave it as is, but put some more lined coding down the sides with a similar grey tone to them.
I feel as if this is something you could consider. The coding down the middle is lovely and the images themselves are amazingly done, though I feel something needs to complement them so their divide has a really good reason to be divided.

That isn't to say your signature is bad, no I love it.
It's got a great feel to it, and I feel as this is one that represents you personally with the art and the quotes to go along with it.
I love the middle coding and the split idea of the art is something not well pulled off at the best of times, but if you were to add some accommodating features, it would be pulled off very nicely.

Signatures will not always fit if they have code, this is because people have zoom at differently levels, use different browsers, screens have different resolutions and the difference between mac and windows computers matters too.
If it fits for you, that is the best you can do.
The only way to avoid all of this is by having a one image signature.
