Do your family/friends know about your characters? If so, how did they find out and how did they react?

They know!
They know i buy and sell characters and they really approve it. They think i'll make my way up to be a professional artist someday with it. Also, my father is really interested about my characters. He knows the names of most part of them and sometimes we talk about their personalities and (this really happens X3) when we're shopping, for example, he sees some cool shirt and says "i think it would look good on (character's name)".
My mother isn't too interested about them, but she thinks it's all really cool X3

Plus all my friends and even my crush know about them, we also discuss about their personalities all the time. I find it awesome, i never expected to be so accepted about it ;w;

Ye a majority of them know about it, since it's all I talk about at points oops XD
My girlfriend's completely okay with it all, and I'm pretty sure they consider themselves a light furry too? Not too sure, but they draw my characters for me sometimes, and asks questions and really they're interested in it and very helpful with it all! uwu my other friends know about it, but they're not into it as much as I am, I have two that actually have characters, but then the other buds just know their names XD
My parents know, and I'm very open to them, I show them my art, and every time I get a new character they're the first to see! At first they thought it was all odd, but they've learned to respect it, and they even allow me to make fursuit heads and such <3 my dad loves my older character Erin, and he's always talking about him and asking about him XD I'm very thankful for all the support and how accepting all my friends and family are <3

my little brother definitely knows the most; I show him most of my drawings if he comes to peek at them and I doodle on everything. He knows my fursonas and some of my other characters' names. My parents know that I draw and stuff and my dad is always curious about what chickensmoothie is. Whenever I'm on my computer and not doing homework they say that I need to stop 'chickensmoothie-ing' or 'drawing kitties'. lol.
my dad has also talked about college and becoming a professional animator or something since i'm going to start touring colleges soon so he likes that I like to draw and stuff.

none of my friends know though. i showed my best friend and she had no idea what i was doing so lolnope let's not do that again. oops.

And on topic ---x My art shop is still under construction, but my tablet was shipped out today from CA.
I'm not that far away from that state, and it should be arriving here by the 23rd. That being said, I'm going to need examples of my digital art to get my artshop up and going .. so for a limited time, art requests are free via the link in my sig.
There are 4 examples of my traditional work, and I'm really good at coloring in things digitally already.. u w u

My family knows because of when I occasionally buy points and have to explain why, and I try to show them. They couldn't care less though and I think they think it's weird XP. They don't understand it.
My friends also know and one of them is interested in characters, but hasn't gotten completely into it. I think they like seeing mine sometimes though...occasionally.
Honestly I just tend to not talk about my characters with people outside the internet because they don't care.

My family kind of knows?? They always demand what I'm buying points for and think that it's stupid that I'm spending 25 dollars on pixels each time I ask. My friends have their own characters, just not dogs so yeah we'll talk about personalities sometimes. I show my family drawings of my characters but I don't think they've linked the fact that I own them.
