So with that a question. What would you consider your 'main' fascination in RVB?

Honestly? The plot. At first it was a couple of dorks in a canon trying to kill each other, but it turned into so much more, and they introduced characters that are loved and hated. The fact that they took 10 soldiers, Church, Caboose, Tucker, Tex, Grif, Simmons, Sarge, Lopez, Donut, and Doc, and turned them into what they are now, loved, and "heroes" in their world, and still keep them the same as they where at the beginning of the Blood Gulch Chronicles, impresses me.

I have to agree with Four. Looking back on it all, it's amazing it all started in the first Halo engine with little to no plot what so ever. Just a couple of guys in a box canyon. Whoop-de-doo. And I like the way they fleshed out all the characters and made them more open and life like. It's just fun to watch tv shows, or in this case Internet shows, grow into things that are now.

While I have to agree with you that I loved the way the plot developed and thickened, I personally am fascinated by Project Freelancer (and not just because of the AI) but because so much of it is left unanswered.

What was the director like before the project? How did the pick freelancers for the project? What would have happened with the AI if the project didn't go down under? In a way were the freelancers meant for failure in the end? How many AIs were there going to be and was everyone going to get one at some point? What happened to the other freelancers mentioned such as Utah?
We just don't know. And thats why I love the project because there are so many things you can speculate about and question.
