Story when it see's its large horns:
I wandered through thick woods that I called home. I have memorized each tree root and rock, every stream and crevice among these woods. I walked among these all too familiar trees and stumbled upon a small creature. I looked down at the thing, sleeping among my territory. I was about to inspect the specimen further, but I noticed that its chest was rapidly expanding. I breathed on the thing roughly, to warn it to leave before something were to happen. It's heartbeat sped and I did not understand why it hadn't scurried away yet. I glared at the blue and black pelt and growled deep in my chest. The thing at my feet giggled and this frustrated me, why didn't it just run away. I growled louder than before and the stripped animal at my feet rolled over, giggling and laughing an interesting chortle. "What is so amusing?" I snarled as it continued to laugh. I noticed that the animal looked like me, only with different patterns and colors laid across her pelt. She continued to laugh and giggle, only able to stop for a short second for some air, then continuing to chortle. "Stop!" I yelled loudly and she blinked, stunned at my outburst. "Why are you in my forest?" I huffed. "What? these are your trees? I don't think someone can own trees." Replied the younger tauren. "You know what I mean." I replied, glaring at her coldly. "Well, there is this legend about a creature hear and I wanted to check it out. The legend tells us of a spirit who guards this forest of trees and will mutilate all who enter! I wanted to see if it was real or not, so here I am." She replied as he crawled around, looking under rocks and trees for said spirit. "You are so thick." I said matter-of-factually. Her head popped out from behind a tree and asked curiously, "What does that mean?" I stared at her as she searched the woods for something."Nothing, now leave this place, you do not belong here." Her ears pulled back against her head in disbelief and sadness, she had thought we were friends. "But, we need to find the... the spirit... Weren't you going to help me?" She asked and her eyes grew wide as she pleaded with her paws, too. "No, now LEAVE." I snapped. Her eyes watered and she turned and ran from my forest. I felt terrible. I wanted to run after her, which was silly. I yelled at her because I was mad. I knew who the spirit was, the one she was talking about. It was me. I hear them, the voices that are searching my forest for the evil monster which they tell the children about to teach them to obey. They see me in the dark caves and between trees as I wander the woods, patrolling my territory. They don't understand that I want to be left alone. This small tauren was the first I had talked to. They usually run as the see me. I intimidate them, no others which I have seen have huge racks of bone and velvet upon their heads. I wandered in the direction the striped tauren had gone, hoping to run into her again. As I wandered I noticed the trees where glowing, no something was glowing and the source's light was resting upon the trees. I looked above me and around, but there was no source of the light to be seen. I heard a familiar squeal and turned my head swiftly. "Oh my! Look at you!" Squealed the friendly tauren. "What?" I asked, with a kinder voice. "Your horns are glowing!" She said as she motioned to my head. "Have they ever done that before?" She asked as she climbed upon my back to look closer at my rack. "Argh, get off of me, no they haven't before." I replied, grumpy on the outside, but I was happy that she had forgiven me. "Do you know why they are doing it?" She asked again as she stood on top of my back spines while trying to peer at my horns. "My names Aqua, by the way", she said happily. "Braixen." I replied.
