Melodystar entered camp and her eyes widened, an expression on her face that she hadn't had since she had been exiled. Lionsnarl nudged her forward and she sighed to him, before hesitantly taking her kits to the nursery, and settling them down in the moss. She nodded thankfully to Lionsnarl as he dropped the kits down beside their siblings and led Melodystar to Orca, who looked up cautiously. "one of his rogues?! Still in camp?!" She let out a loud hiss, the fur on her back lifting. She calmed down when Lionsnarl mumbled to her, and she sighed, flattening her ears. "He's only a kit," Lionsnarl added silently to her, and she nodded. "He was an acolyte of Canyonswoop, however he has stayed behind. Lionsnarl?" She turned to him, flicking her ears. "You said he's only six moons correct?" She asked, and Lionsnarl returned a nod. "Which means he shouldn'tve been training in the first place- this would be his first moon as an apprentice." She prodded. Lionsnarl nodded, flicking his tail. "Correct. He barely fought, he got many cuts and bruises on the way." Said Lionsnarl in sympathy. "He can stay for tonight. I will call a clan meeting soon and the clan will discuss." She meowed. Lionsnarl nodded and gazed across the clan cats.
Lionsnarl, after discussing with his sister, shook out his dusty and blood-matted pelt. He looked around at the cats silently, his amber optics narrowed. I feel at home here. But ... what about my kits? And my mate? I can't abandon them... but... these cats are like my family. I have more cats related to me here... He sighed, flicking his ears. He decided to stay for a while and began to replace brambles on the entrance wall, and helped repair the dens. He looked up at the sunset and sighed, narrowing his eyes even more.
