The Main Fight

When the clock struck 12, and 2015 began, the pets of Chicken Smoothie gathered together. Hundreds of millions, young and old, wanted to celebrate the new year. But how? CS wasn't the best website ever, even though it was friendly, inviting and creative. That was when it was suggested... A fight.

Not between the commons, uncommons, or even rares! Between pets of the Main List. Wanting to make the rest of the pets happy, they reluctantly agreed. The pets made plans to secretly meet up during the year and watch the battle of the rarest pets ever. With magic powers, it was even more interesting! But it doesn't go to plan...

Will Tourmaline stop the Main Fight before it gets out of control?

Ok, so I thought I'd have a go at writing a story from the perspective of my dog, Tourmaline. This might not that good, but it's an idea I had. I'll be adding a diary entry whenever I have finished an idea. Don't worry, nothing will be too gory. The date of the post won't match the date of the diary entry.

I'm so behind on this, though I am planning on getting back into it. Just want you to know I'm going off the List I copied into a document a while ago.

"Is the plan done, Tigress?" A black and yellow dog asked, impatiently chewing the staff in his mouth.

"Yes. All we need to do now is to suggest it to Avian. Raven, you be responsible for that."

"Of course." replied the black dog, bowing before she flapped her wings and left the group, not to be part of a trade offer this time.

"What will this do again?" asked the pure black dog with bright blue eyes.

"When Tigress is done," the dog with the staff said, "We will have all the demand in CS. There will be no more monthly swaps, no more common 'dreamies'. The only goal in the game will be to collect us. We will laugh at the ridiculous offers that newbies make."

"And no one will be able to stop us." added the UR tiger.

HAPPY SUPER LATE NEW YEAR! (is that really something to be happy about?)

So I'm Tourmaline, DarkLunaPhoenix's pet. I'm gathered here today with all the other pets of Chicken Smoothie (like 5382238286 pets) to watch the Main Lists battle. Avian (the guy at the top of each page) says we may have the Septembers and Advents battle too. I don't know!

Anyway, I look like this when I'm not in my fancy dressup:



Today we're here to watch Red X, who's the element of pain (boy) , duel Wolf, who apparently controls instinct (girl). They are both on the same tier, so this should work out well. I'm betting 5C$ that Red will win. If he doesn't, my owner will probably find out I've used her C$... Oops. I regret betting after I wrote that.

Anyway, IT'S STARTING! (why do I still use those ugly faces? I'm not a 2 day old...)

Avian counts down, and everyone else does too. Scratch that, everyone but me. Somehow I feel this is weird... Wrong even. Na, it's probably just Wolf's power...

Red dashes towards Wolf, using lazer energy to tear at Wolf. Wolf quickly focuses, 5 seconds before the menacing claw strikes, he forces X to stop, pulls out his instinct and makes him yell,

"Why are we doing this? This is too violent for the website!"

That was all the time that Wolf needed. She slammed against the claw, shattering it and dashing towards Red. Taken by surprise, he fell back towards the wall. Following her element, Wolf let the power take over. Her instinct was strong enough to throw Red across the battlefield.

But X's power was not weakened. Instead he became STRONGER! (Well what do you expect from the master of pain?). And he resurrected his claw, grabbing Wolf and throwing her into a hole that I hadn't previously noticed. It was over. Red X had won.

But that strong feeling of wrong still came over me. And I ignored it again, taking my C$ from the rares walking around. That was so epic!

Hey hey! It's me again. Wanna learn what's happening now at the Main Fight? Good, keep reading this entry.

So last time Red X and Wolf battled, and if you didn't read my last entry. I forgot to put their photographs. Here:



Red is going on the Winner's List (I bet no user knows about that list), and so are all of the other winners. Well what do you expect? Avian says we're moving up a tier, so Rose and Blue are fighting. Rose (female, PPS) controls beauty, and Blue controls youth (male, PPS, Malk). They look like this:



Then Avian and everyone but me screams numbers and stuff. Blah blah blah. Let's skip to the fight even though I said I would do a longer entry. I bet 2.5C$ on Rose. Yes, it's possible despite how trading works. But only pets read this, not users (I hope).

So Rose starts. She makes walking roses, and I should be saying, no, screeching like a maniac that it's weird. But they're too pretty for insults. That must be Rose's power! Blue wobbles, and almost falls under their control, but he peeks into the memory of somebody's childhood lessons, and finding out how to break the spell, screeches (or rather roars, he's a dragon),

"Roses are red! Violets are blue! Both are ugly, and so are you!"

Wait what? It's not Valentine's yet. Maybe it's the opposite of Valentine's... I don't know

Ok back to the battle, Roses summons emerald green thorns to capture Blue. He struggles, and tries to breathe fire, but he's a PPS, not an adult Malk dragon. But that does mean his instinct is still strong. He stomps his claw, and shakes the ground (I don't know how, he's not very heavy). Rose screams in a high pitched voice, and falls through the huge crack in the ground. Blue grabs the wall.

It has ended. And I lost my C$. Nuuuu . Well at least I nothing came off Luna's account, otherwise she'd notice. I should finish my entry now.

Wait, the PPS next to me tapped my shoulder and said,

"Hi. I'm Torane. I wanted to ask if you also feel something is wrong."

"Yes, but I keep ignoring it."

"Well maybe we can figure out what it is together."

"Better than being alone. I'm Tourmaline."

She smiled at me warmly, and I grinned back. It looked like she was also Luna's pet from her label, but wasn't in the same group as me. I haven't known her well enough to let her write in my diary. But I assure you, I will let her write here. Torane looks like this (without her fancy make up):

Back to another fight! Rane (Torane insists I call her that), is right next to me and keeping still. And quiet. Very, VERY quiet. She hasn't spoken since we had a chat on the 21st. I wish I knew her more.

So today Shimmer, (♀, Rane taught me the symbols for genders) the Dark Pink Shima, will fight Mora, also female (and PPS), who is a Skeleton PPS. Shimmer controls love. Not the best power for a fight, but better than nothing. Mora controls death, no wait, that doesn't happen here. Deletion? Non-existence? Well I know she has the soul-steal ability, and I'm still scared of bone markings.

I'm not betting this round, I think I'll keep my C$ for above gaps fighting. That'll be a long time.

Next is the boring countdown, neither me nor Rane join in. I don't know why we're the only ones that don't do that. It's not because of our owner, I can see other pets with the same label overjoyed at this event. And not our species, because obviously Avian is also a dog, and he's pretty much the organizer of all this.

The fight starts. Shimmer starts, focusing hard on Mora's love. Or what's meant to be her love. Apparently Mora's not much of a lovebird, and focuses hard herself. A crimson pinkish colour comes out of Shimmer, who is now panicking like a chicken. Shimmer's still trying to escape, and whispers one more spell before the mist completely come out of the lower-tier. I could hardly hear it.

"Love needn't be a friend. Let it be a thing, power or place."

Mora instantly drops her focus, turning it to something else. I don't know what, but it's enough time for Shimmer to beat her wings against the PPS, casting them both back.

"Now you've really done it, fool." Mora whisper-screamed.

Her eyes went completely out of focus, turning red as she went unconscious. I didn't know what happened next, I couldn't see a thing. Apart from the fighters falling asleep. But Rane told me, what she had seen what Skeleton PPS could do when she was a newborn. That was the only stage you could witness the horror at. So I'm guessing this happened.

Mora flew out of her body, turning into a black mist smothering everywhere, and dived towards trembling Shimmer. In a second the fog had disappeared, but Mora was still unconscious. A second later Shimmer also fell into a deep sleep, and the beautiful crimson cloud floated out again. Right next to the PPS's body. In an instant, Mora dashed to her paws, and the smog vanished. Instead of violence, she simply breathed in, and the cloud of pink was gone.

I can guess what happened, but I'm not writing it down. Mora had obviously won.

Torane spoke again.

"Well, less violence than usual, but something horrible happened there."

I gulped, still trembling at the thought of what had probably happened. Actually, it did happen. I asked a newborn next to me.

"Yeah, well..." I couldn't finish my sentence. It was too horrifying.

I hope to be safe, with this diary. See you when I stop having nightmares,

Nearly at the end of January. Next up are Serena, the UR purple horse (serenity, ♀) and App the UR apple (sweetness, ♂). I definitely bet that Serena's winning, but Rane is less confident. I wonder what an apple will do in a fight?

"Hey, sweetness can be used as a weapon."

I can't really trust those cryptic messages any more, but Rane is my friend so I don't know what to believe. Anyway, the fighters this round look like this:



So looks like we were quite 'early' today, and there's only about 892358 pets here. Rane says we should go and snoop around in this time. I'm not a master of espionage, therefore I let her lead the way. We pass by the bathrooms and split up, each peeking into either Serena's room or App's room. I went into Plume's room. It looked like a fortune teller's house.

Dream-catchers were hung up on the violet walls, a crystal ball sat on the table. Candles were everywhere, producing the scent of vanilla. It seemed like Serena was meditating in the middle. Pft. She's such a time-waster. But then I turned my attention to the crystal ball. It had something purple swirling inside. I hope it wasn't what I saw in the last match

"Hey Rane, there's a purple swirling thing in Serena's crystal ball. What is it?"

"If Serena's doing meditation, it's power."

I wanna ask her how she knows since most pets don't have powers but I don't press her. She's not very talkative. I'll probably ask her back at the match. I copy my description of the room of this paper and PM it to her.

"Interesting."

She pasted her description and PMed it back to me. Here it is:

"Apparently App doesn't really like fighting. Well, I don't blame him, he's a fruit. His room is bright green and has splotches of brownish-grey all over it. He's sitting on a stump of wood and really doesn't have anything else there. His power is swirling inside a red apple. I think he really likes them, a strange sign's in there on the power orb too, I think it means sweetness."

Either Rane is a total magic addict, or she's really smart. I don't know about either, she's not childish and PPS aren't allowed in schools, just nurseries. Well, normal PPS at least. But, without meaning any offence, I doubt Rane is too different.

"Let's get back to the games, it's starting."

"K. Meet you at DarkLunaPhoenix's pets, group Favourites." I answer.

Two minutes later, I'm back in my seat. Rane's quiet again, and I ask her how she knows so much about power. She opens her mouth to answer, but is cut off by the countdown. Mental note: never count down again.

The fight starts. Serena trots, towards App, in the way all horses do, but looks REALLY awkward because she's SO tiny. Uh maybe that was an overstatement but yeah, she looks kinda weird. She stops long before she reaches him and sits in a yoga pose. Not the best choice for a fight, is what I want to scream, but I don't. I did it once to Moonpelt, a groupless pet. But then she ordered her 'boyfriend', Chrombic to slap me. I ran back to my group as fast as I could, and never went back there. And Moon was only a 2008 rare. A list pet would do something worse, like drop me into a well or steal my soul. Ok, I wish I never wrote that. I found out yesterday that one of Luna's December the 18th pets is a Skeleton PPS. Mora. Gulp.

Now App, not very calm, is nearly asleep. Serena grins like a maniac mum. I thought she was the master of serenity... But that was the thing that roused App from his state. He teleported a few drops of insanely sweet juice into Serena's mouth and she drops to the ground like a fly.

"Water..."

She tries to be calm, but she was the horse was too uncomfortable. I've never heard of a juice that burns your mouth with sweetness. Weird.

"Cheater! She'll get deleted if this goes on!"

Everyone turned their heads to a familiar contestant - Red X. How is THAT cheating if Mora stole Shimmer's SOUL? RED X IS CRAZY! But Avian agrees, not wanting to disappoint anyone, along with the rest of the winners. Maniacs. Weirdos. I never wanna go on the List. App cries, and walks away. Ok, shuffles away. He has no legs. He's an apple.

"Serenity moves on! Sweetness is out!" Avian yells. The crowd echoes his call.

We walk back to Luna's account, with all her other pets. Rane looks worried.

"What happened to App? He never left, I know it." she randomly says.

"How d'you know?"

"Instinct."

"Really?" I don't believe her.

"Hey, you ignored your instinct before and it lead to trouble."

"Ok fine, there's definitely something weird happening. We'll talk next fight."

Back again! I think I trust Rane enough to let her do a small entry at the end, which I've sworn not to read. Ok so last time Serenity and App fought. App 'cheated' so he got out. Don't know why Mora didn't, perhaps because Avian doesn't want his soul stolen. Then again, he is like god's pet so that probably can't happen. Hope Mora doesn't read this because she has the same owner as me and every single pet Luna owns knows where I am...

Later than usual today, countdown's happening in 10 minutes, and the doors to the VIP place are shut. So nothing to do really. We could just talk really. Oh yeah, and today's fighters are Hera, the healing rat (Dark Heart Rat) and Lux, the Light Speckled Rat, master of... uh.. lightness? As in not heavy, not divine things and stuff like that. I need to go to the bathroom, I'll put their photos after.

Hey everyone, I'm Torane. Now, you users, I know you read this so DON'T tell Tour. She's not ready to know this. I want to tell you that ALL pets have powers. Everything in the virtual world does. Yes I know this isn't reality. I'm smarter than you think. Tourmaline has the soul stealing ability, as Mora does. Hers is weaker by a lot, Mora's a natural, being a Skeleton PPS. Bye users, don't tell her. I don't know my power, tell me if you do. I'll intercept Luna's PM.

SKIPPING TO THE FIGHT, THIS MAY BE A LONG ONE, RATS CAN'T FIGHT SO WELL, THIS TITLE IS GETTING TOO LONG:

The two pets waddle towards each other like the baby penguins from December 2014 would, but slower. When they finally clash, Lux strikes first. She (oh yeah both are female) blinds Hera with a light so bright I flinch as well. No one else really seems to though, apart from a few. Hera simply heals herself back up and whacks the higher tier with her tail. Of course, Lux has no healing spell, so Hera will slowly take her down.

Looks like Lux heard my thoughts, or sensed me writing that. She stops using skills and forces Hera into paw to paw combat. I don't think Hera's going to last long without using a spell, but plays along. I don't think rats actually do paw to paw combat since well, their paws aren't big enough. More like tail to tail combat.

Lux is sneaky, and drops in a light spell, blinding Hera then spins twice, doing a double combo. Hera's down to the ground, but immediately heals herself. I see Red X whisper something to Mora, and Mora falls into a trance like stage. Not while she was asleep, but like Serena's meditation. Blue also casts a spell, probably trying to turn one into a PPS. I have to stop this. I'm not letting the Main Lists ruin this again. Why are they acting like this anyway? I mean they never did it before.

I duck down and shuffle towards the 'winners'. It takes a long time but I do it anyway. I jump onto Blue, instantly stopping him, but I'm too late to stop Mora. Healing wins the round. Lux is captured. Wow -.-. I'm not even scared, just mad.

The day is ruined again. Bye,

I've already told you what I know, but something off topic is that Lux translates to Light, but probably the divine meaning. Again, don't tell her. This is also the longest entry Tour has done so far, or at least it took the longest. I'll be waiting for you to read this. ~ Rane

1st February 2015

New month, new pets! Thousands more newborns are crowding the stadium. I'm not at risk since me and Rane have to sit on the edge of the stadium after what happened last time. Usually I would have gotten sent to jail, deleted, or even banned. No, wait, banning is for players only. Luna still has no idea what happens, playing on Minecat or whatever it is 24/7

No winners are in sight, and Avian says it is because of spectators interrupting the fight. Probably the Winners but perhaps me as well. They've probably gone to their rooms. I know something else is happening here, behind the scenes. I'm guessing it's to do with power, since all the pets cannot use them until the battle. Hmm.

Back on topic, the warriors today are Medi, the Medium Speckled Rat, master of balance, and Heri, the Heavy Speckled Rat, whose power is weight. Both are male, they look like this:



Pretty similar huh? They're from the same litter, but still fighting, I would never fight my brother Frodo if we were forced to. I wonder why they do it. It's Very Rare on CS. Get it? They're both VRs. No? Never mind, I'm terrible at jokes.

I'm going to not mention the boring countdown this entry, too much work. Oh wait, silly me, I just did. The only weird thing is it starts at 2 less the number as it did last time. Weird yet again.

And it starts. Heri strikes first, dropping an anvil towards Medi, but it misses him by an inch. Medi summons a tightrope up from the ground, or should I say a slackrope? It's the slackest line I've ever seen. Furthermore, it wobbles about, downwards and UPWARDS. I hope he doesn't fall into the newly made hole below.

"See you try to balance on that!"

As soon as the words come out of his mouth, Heri whips his tail around the rope, and uses the force to slingshot him back to safe ground. He doesn't do anything that seems violent, only summoning a feather. What? I think Lux would have used that rather.

"Is that ALL you've got? A feather?" he yells.

I wait until it lands on Medi. It pins him to the ground. It would probably be Heri's power, making things heavy. I don't know how he did it to a feather though. It's impossible. Either this is all a RP show, or I'm too much of a skeptic.

"Too heavy? Wish Lux was still here?"

A clock I just saw is counting down. 5 minutes left until the Medi automatically loses. I'm too sleepy to stay up for that long. I tell Rane to write what goes on... I'll dream-journal when I wake up. Search it up, it is a key step to lucid dreams. Bye for now...

So Medi does get back up, and the clock freezes. The same thing repeats for about 5 boring minutes. Tour's going to be disappointed that nothing exciting really happened. Wait, she only slept for what feels like 5 seconds? Um, K, I'll let her get back to it.

My dream was that nothing exciting happened in the match. Just really that Heri squashed his brother with an anvil. Oh wait that did happen. Psychic dream? More like a boring one.

Hi again paper, and I'm late again paper. The newborns are growing up so they are getting more sensible. Torane's litter has been officially released. I forgot to mention that when I met her in January, she wasn't officially released, and her opacity wasn't that high. So everypet here knows what the pets next month are going to look like before the players know. Take that users!

Anyway, enough being rude to owners and I'll start writing about what's happening. We're quite late and the countdown's starting in 7 minutes 42 seconds exactly. Maths . Today the Pink Balloon, Feral, is battling Malo, the Blue Balloon. Feral rules females, and Malo is the master of males. Feral and Malo are usually called the Binary twins because yeah, they're binary genders. Nona, the Non Balloon is also in their litter but is much rarer. They are agender. Yes Nona's pronouns are they and their.

But back to today's fight, these are Feral and Malo respectively:



I'm guessing all Tess did to design these 2 was make one, then probably change the eyes and star balloon. Lazy Tess : /Wait, I regret writing that. I hope she doesn't see what I wrote . Tess is like God to us Chicken Smoothie pets.

Meh. Let's get on with it. Feral uses a spell which makes makeup appear on Malo. Acid makeup probably, because before you know it, Malo's rolling in mud trying to get it off. Ugh, boys. Then when he gets back up, Malo kicks a football (or soccerball if you are an American piece of paper) towards Feral's head. She goes flying back towards the brick walls of the stadium, into a goal Malo randomly spawned.

"SCORE!" he screams. Typical boys.

The clock I saw last time is now at 2 minutes. Seriously Avian, why give them THAT long to get up? A snail could travel 10cm faster. Ok maybe not that likely but still. Feral manages it before 10 seconds pass, summoning in those creepy dolls all girly girls had. Yuck, now I know why I'm transgender.

The dolls climb all over him, sharp wood cutting into his fur. Tiny little dresses are pulled over his eyes. Delicate fairy wings are making him itchy. Suddenly, he has a burst of strength, making him as strong as a male wolf. Or should I say werewolf? He brushes past her, scratching her fur with razor sharp claws, and using his star shaped balloon to whack her in the face. Malo is now twice the size of Feral, maybe even as tall as the Eiffel Tower (Yep I learned that too).

Note from Rane - He isn't actually as big as the Eiffel Tower. It's just that the images on Google are smaller than the actual thing. If Malo were to enter reality, he'd be as big as the tallest man in the world.

Feral isn't beaten, despite her numerous wounds and cuts. She also uses her balloon to whack Malo in the face, and then decides to use sewing needles to 'pin' him down. Literally - ouch.

The needles first pull the thread all around him, tying him up so tight he struggles to breathe. The thread is of course, pink, purple and other girly colours. It almost looks like a jumper with woolly trousers too. With a heart and pretty birds on the design too. Only thing is that it's thread, not wool. That power must be amazing.

Malo seems to be suffocating, so Avian quickly declares Feral the winner, and asks some B-Wolves from 2008 to put him in the hospital. Battle's over.

Hello piece of paper, ready for more? Ok, you keep reading and I'll keep writing. Typing? I don't know what word fits there exactly, so let's skip to the action.

Today, a Winged Wood Angel is fighting an Orange Cerberus. Yes, finally a Malk fights after all the usual pets. Malks are commonly looked down by the pets, because they steal all the fame apparently. The fact that this Malk has three heads and is the master of terror won't help his reputation.

Anyway, they are called Clara and Tero respectively. You'll probably know that Clara is female and Tero is a male. Clara controls stillness and I've already told you what Tero controls. Previous paragraph if you skimmed what I wrote. They look like this:



Also from now on, I'm not going to write about what happens before the fight, unless it's something important, like the Oekaki stopped working or part of our well-drawn stadium blew up or something like that. Sorry, I don't want to waste pages.

Battle starts. Tero flies forward at light speed (no, not literally). Clara doesn't move. He keeps going like crazy. Clara seems to be focused, stiller than Serena when she was meditating. A split second before Tero slams into her, she flaps her wings once and teleports away before any damage can be done. To her, of course. Because Tero just crashed into the wall.

Strangely, he doesn't seem to be moving. Well I know it must hurt, but seriously, he's not even breathing. Don't interpret that as 'he's dead' because hardly any of us breathe while we sit just staring at our owners when they're online. That's one of the main reasons we're never noticed.

Everyone else also seems frozen in time. They look like what we usually do in front of computer screens. The only pets that aren't frozen are a green zodiac dog, a unofficially released Easter bunny, Rane, me and Avian. Needless to say, Clara is also moving to finish off Tero. She can probably just punch, kick and bite him until he's low on heart points. Logic.

However, Clara's magic doesn't last for long. Everyone suddenly pops back to consciousness, readjusting their vision to see what would happen next. Most missed it though, pretty much everyone who was frozen.

Tero looms over Clara, growling and lifting two of his three heads high, using the middle to stare down at her, his piercing eyes almost burning holes in her. Clara's wings flap wildly, sending her around the arena to random places, but at least one of Tero's six black eyes find her every time.

When Clara calms down again, he charges towards her, sharp claws and teeth ready to attack. Clara's wings may have stopped, but her heart is still beating swiftly. She is still scared. From my studies, I know that Mains can only cast one spell while they're frightened. It's random, which can be dangerous, but she does it anyway.

Her last spell this battle is what she did first. She stares into Tero's eyes, focusing all her thoughts on him. Tero keeps charging towards her, but she doesn't move. As he jumps, she slams light brown energy towards him, freezing him in midair. At first I thought Luna's computer crashed, or CS went down.

So Clara won. Unlikely against a Malk which is also a Cerb but it happened. What I'm more confused about is why the green zodiac and bunny were able to move. It's not like they or we have powers, not even if the zodiac is a 2010 rare. Oh well, I can ponder over that next time.

Notes from Rane ~ Those two pets Tour was confused about are called Luna and Aura. Luna's a girl and Aura has no gender as she is an EPPS. I guess we'll have to call our owner something else. I'll introduce us to them next time we meet. They are also Candy_Treat's pets, not our owner's. Candy is COPPA'd.

Back after another tedious four days of staying sitting. Rane has officially grown, so her opacity is now 255 and she's officially a part of Luna's family. Still on the edge of the stadium, but I'm glad I'm not sitting near her hoard of galaxy dogs. Sheesh, she's really gotten far with that hoard. She's going with 200, so I may as well stay in my current spot.

Time to continue this... diary? It might even be a story series when CS is done with this fight. Today the Rainbow Mane (RBM is what most users use), Splash ♂, is up against a UR Ice Cat ♀ (the icy blue kitty, not the sleek black warrior), Thermia. Sometimes I wonder why URs even get under the Big Gap, but they do. Here's their looks:



You can probably guess their powers from their (official) names. Even so, I'm still writing this to remind myself, not for anyone's but this paper's entertainment - so colour magic and ice magic. Luna may eventually find it, but it's hard to imagine that happening - I don't even have a single clue as to what she looks like! Monster or mammal? Kind or creepy? Stupid or smart? And Tess says no user can share their appearance. And also all the Google images of humans are different.

Oh, and Rane's also introduced me to those two other pets that weren't frozen by Clara's spell last time. They are the emerald zodiac dog and unreleased EPPS bunny. We CS pets call them 'stashes' so I'll be using that now, since I don't want to confuse it with UR pets. The zodiac is called Luna, and the bunny is called Aura. Luna is female, however Aura doesn't have a gender. I guess we'll need to call our owner something else.

"Hey, that's what I wrote!"

"Have some respect for me! I never read your entries!" I deadpan, just now realizing she's been reading all this. Luckily, after that, she minds her own business.

We haven't spoken to each other yet, but they seem quite nice from their actions that I see them do. Gifting (items not pets), helping others with art, and more. I hope we can make more friends here. The more we keep away from others, the more dangerous this is. I sense there's a great evil here...

Ok, back on topic, Splash starts off by creating a rainbow beam. Not much, until you realize the heavy metal pot at the end is upside down and scattering golden coins onto Thermia. When she's buried in treasure, the huge pot also falls on her. Pretty creative if you ask me.

Thermia, like all the other Lists, don't give up as easily as commons. She turns the black pot into an icy light blue igloo (there's a rhyme at the end of that). Unfortunately, we only the beautiful thing for 2 seconds before the UR sends shards of frozen metal flying towards Splash. He gallops out of the way of most of them, only to be hit by the last two and pinned against the detailed wall.

Splash longs to pull himself down, but the shards are too cold and sharp. He whinies as his tail, colorful as a rainbow, turns to chilly ice. It moves fast, making serious progress, yet no one really cares. Weird.

As I explained last time, Mains only have one spell left when they're scared, because... they're nervous? So just like Clara, Splash steals his opportunity. The spell isn't too much, some sunshine glows on Thermia (because rainbows come out when there is sunlight and rain), starting to melt her. She tries to run, but the beam of light stalks her like a spotlight. Another ray shines down onto Splash, melting the ice shards into mere drops of water.

Splash takes only a couple of seconds to gather up all energy and mana he's got left (by the way, those useless mana potions in the store don't work) and charges towards Thermia at full speed. A unicorn horn appears on his head, at a low opacity, and so do wings. But these are only projections, he can't use them.

Thermia is sly, and uses one last spell to finish the battle. She stands still, pretending to accept her fate, and sweating (or melting). When the gap between them is only an inch or so, she steps to the side and freezes the floor where Splash would've landed. He goes sliding across, nearly reaching the end, but Thermia's timing is perfect. With a slam of her mighty paws, the ice breaks. Splash falls into a hole, unable to climb up.

"Thermia wins! Splash is out!" Avian yells.
