Hey, everyone, here's a new topic: Plumerians turns one year old in couple months (May 4th!)

also I PMed a bunch of people regarding my plumerian's relationships but none have replied so i'm taking this into my own hands

Looking for relationships for my plumerians-!
I'm looking for friends, enemies, and occasionally mates for some of my plumerians. For mates, I look for both personality and design match.
I'm really a bad roleplayer, so I'm not entirely interested in roleplaying, but if you're willing to put up with me I'd give it a try. (I just made a skype too so I can try that)

Most often described as a hyperactive skittle, Oswald is an extremely extroverted, spontaneous, high-energy teenager. He loves nothing more than a good night (or day) out with friends.
And BOY does he have a lot of friends. Oswald is so accepting and charismatic, people are drawn to him. Still, many people can't handle his "always on the go" way of life- plus, he's kind of demanding and insists upon getting his way.
He also has periods of depression, but for the most part is incredibly optimistic.

Wynne is extremely introverted and not skilled with verbal communication. Most people find her boring, but she's actually very creative and interesting, she just has trouble communicating in social situations.
She prefers, instead, to stay in her apartment and watch Netflix and draw comics. She lives the fandom life. Also, Wynne's kind of a terrible procrastinator-- sometimes to the point of just not doing things or not getting involved in things.
Wynne has a sort of logical creativity- she likes to check what she makes against fact and science. She likes to learn new things.

Very much the royal, Duncan is haughty, pompous, blue-blooded, and rather classicist.
Still, if you can prove yourself to his high standards, he will open up to you. When he does, you will see that his is smart, caring, and charitable- a very good doctor, all things considered.
He loves classical art and music, especially opera, but has no talent for it himself.
Often sarcastic (you prank him HE PRANKS BACK), occasionally cranky from lack of sleep and annoying patients

Kirk| Male | 24| Pansexual | Single | Kirk's Komics- purveyor of comics and fine nerd merchandise.
Friends (Cosplayers, tabletop gamers, or other nerds especially), enemies (Banned from Kirk's Komics), a significant other.

Kirk is optimistic, social, and full of perseverance. He's sure of himself and principled (plus especially fond of making long empassioned speeches).
He loves star trek- the original series- and cosplays often as the captain who shares his name. Many of his interests and morals come from the show.
He's also kind of a large ham who overEMPASIZEes his WORDS and makes a big deal ot of stuff.
Kirk's default mode is 'flirt.' Also has the tendency to loose his shirt for no reason.

@All I understand how some non-owners feel for I am one but when I don't win it hurts. Though I am glad that someone who worked their hardest wins the plumie then I know they will go to a better home. I just hope to win a plumerian soon so I can join this community as a owner.

To the whole Non-owner vs owners ordeal. I'd like you to know that even if you put a lot of effort in a form and such, characterization still comes first. I explained this in my streams before and I know the ones who are arguing over it were in my stream. When I entered for 400, you'll notice that I barely did most of the art. This is because I was spending most of the time on getting a correct characterization and researching hawaii and the people who live there. Characterization comes first.  Art? Cool, it looks nice. Writing? Not many like to read it, but it's even worse to read just trivial lists of "This is their favorite thing." I tried explaining this but mostly got arguments back. You know, you can have a very simple character, but you don't have to have a bland doorknob for a personality.

I know this is blunt, but I'm tired of hearing people whining over never winning a plume, but when I look at forms, you never even take my advice.

When you are doing a contest, artists have seen almost every personality in the book, but you know what? Some of them can still stand out. You want an interesting character that would be cool to see around a fanclub. This means, if the personality is already floating around in the fanclub, don't use it. Do some research on your artist and find out what they like. This does not mean go ask them most of the time, this means go and look at old contests. Read other people's entries.

Want my help? I offer help to non owners all the time. I would love to see more non-owners winning! That doesn't mean come to the fanclub and say "Oh I wish I had a plume so I could rp." I know it's hard to interact without one, but you can ask questions and respond to other people's personalities. Work on your character development skills and make each character unique and in depth.

For non owners seeking help, just contact me with your form. I give you feedback based off of my own experience.

Ya'll need to understand that non-owner is just a title and doesn't make someone any more or less incompetent of winning a plumerian. Honestly, the only difference it makes is some competitions are for non-owners. Don't let those labels define your abilities.

{ Prosper - Male - 24 years old - Homoflexible }

He's 24 years old and is his usual jokey/punny self except his jokes have a tendency to turn a bit morbid. At times, more often than not when he's in a sour mood, it can seem like he doesn't really have a conscious. He loves working with kids, mostly because his mentality is the same as a kid's, and volunteers at a daycare. When talking to people he tends to try to keep the conversation about them because he doesn't know about his own past so talking about himself is hard and usually leaves him frustrated. He was a part of an involuntary lab experiment which tampered with the retrieval of memories. Basically he has memories of his past stored in his long-term memory, but he's unable to access and use them. He has a strange love for the paranormal and enjoys ghost hunting and using Ouija boards, as well as pulling practical pranks on strangers. Although he's nowhere near as geeky as most others (coughcough my plumerian Chase coughcough), he still has a love for small fandoms like Mystery Skulls and Supernatural, mostly things that have to do with the paranormal. He gets jealous of others very easily, especially when someone makes better jokes than he does. He also has an adoptive daughter named Kin. (Owned by Ittam)

{ Hadley / 16 / Female / Homosexual }

Personality wise; she's very curious and loves to go on "adventures" in the small wooded area in her back yard. She's very blunt and tends to elongate her words when she's exaggerating. She doesn't really understand the consequence of her actions so she tends to just say whatever she wants to, which usually ends in a lot of fights. She's not into a lot of fandoms but she loves Pokemon and even though she'd be financially secure enough to buy them she's yet to acknowledge that there were more pokemon games besides black/white. She's a bit of a misandrist, and doesn't really trust men until she gets to know them, and if they're problematic she won't stand for it. She's a very active feminist and runs a support blog for women and men who are in/dealt with abusive situations. Hadley is very easily distracted and tends to ramble when she talks or completely switch topics mid sentence.

{ Montgomery "Monty" Sullivan -- will only answer to "Monty" and hates 'Montgomery' / 29 / Male / Married with two kids }

Although he has a love for children and a soft spot for his family, Monty is very introverted and anxious. Practically anyone bigger or taller than him freaks him out, (in human/anthro form he's only 5'4) although how he deals with intimidation isn't quivering and whining, he'll try to intimidate them back... by being obscene in the process. He's a former murderer, although it is a touchy subject to him and he is very ashamed of it, just as he is with most of his past, he's not too fond of himself. He's very protective over his children/Kade and is always on high alert whenever the subject turns to one of them. I would prefer to keep the rp to skype because Monty has a tendency to use lots of "choice" words. Additionally... Yes, he always wears that stupid hat/scarf. Also did I mention Aussie accent? Monty has a very... long past and it'd take a long time for me to write it all out. I would recommend rping with Monty most of all though, he's a very complex character. 8)

{ Chase / 18 / Male / Dating katstiel's Cam }

He's cynical, bossy, tends to mouth off a lot and in general is a huge nerd. He's employed by my other plumerian, Monty, to over see the experiments and to take care of legal paperwork. He lives in a small apartment in New York with his turtle Michelangelo. He cosplays three characters and he can be seen at almost every comic con in New York.

{ Akatora (Tora) / 25 / Male / Mated to Pagan Min's Eden }

He's very arrogant and full of himself, having been on the run from police officers during various points of his life and being completely exempt from society since the age of eight, he doesn't have a lot of manners and tends to get confused and frustrated easily. At first, he may seem to only care about himself but when he finally does fall for someone, he almost obsessive. He has a tendency to become melodramatic over situations and exaggerates his stories to sound more impressive. He does have a bit of a criminal record but for something minor. Although he likes to alter it to "everyone knows my name and is looking for me so I must become nomadic", in all honesty he hasn't been searched for in over ten years. When he was younger, eight years old to be exact he sneaked around four dogs and two cats out of animal shelters until finally someone noticed and called the police. When he was questioned about it he ran away and was too afraid to return home so he decided to keep "exploring". He's been nomadic ever since, believing that the authorities are still searching for him.
