September blinked her eyes tiredly and pushed herself into a sitting position. She glanced around, seeing her brother, August, was starting to wake.

Lauren could here a couple of voices and pulled a pillow over her head. "Five more minutes," she mumbled.

August walked over to his sister, eyeing the others a bit warily. "Any idea where we are?" He asked her. September just shook her head slightly.

"Will you shut up!" Lauren said loudly when the voices didn't stop. Then she peered out from under the pillow, letting out a small squeak when she realized she wasn't in her room.

September and August talked quietly, tuning the others out. Neither appeared too distressed or confused.

Lauren stepped off the bed, careful not to knock anything over with her wings. She brushed her rose-colored hair out of her eyes and looked around with wide eyes.

A girl awoke, with curly hair that for once, wasn't unkept. It was blonde, and went to her shoulders. A pair of lion ears was atop her head, with regular human ears missing. She had fangs, fangs that went almost to the bottom of her chin. It took her a while to notice, but something was in her shirt, hidden by the small blanket over her. It was a cub, but why exactly was it there, and how? She stood, revealing the long tail that would also belong to a lion, looking around curiously.


Blue stood, watching as the girl awoke. He smiled slightly as she realized the gift he had left for her when he woke up a few minutes ago. He tried to avoid the humans, if these beings could even be considered that. He certainly wasn't human, he was a lab creation to test cloning. He was the blue level, and the last one made before the incident. His gray-blue skin marked him clearly inhuman, just as the tear mark under his eye did, it clearly was no tattoo.
