"This is a song that has been passed down through the years around all of the world. This mountain that touches the sun is known as Cerutia, which sits in the middle of our land and is connected to ranges that spread like roots of a tree, and like in the song, reaches beyond the clouds and seems to touch the sun. It's said that winged ones called Zotios live there, and those who manage to climb to the top of the mountain are given the chance to transform into one of them.

"But who knows if this is the full truth? But one thing is certain...the land of Aviyal is truly a realm of mystery."

"From my magical woods that hold faefolk and elves..."

"...and my expansive seas that hold a variety of shimmering scaled creatures."

"From my majestic hills that send down forceful winds..."

"...to my underground caverns and tunnels.

"From my volcanic lands that hold precious gems and minerals..."

"...to the towns, villages, and cities that hold the many races that live on my world of Aviyal.

"Perhaps you shall be the one to uncover the secrets that lie upon the peak of the mountain. And maybe you'll solve some that have been unanswered throughout Aviyal's years.

"But for now, I believe it'd be best if I got to know you...deities have to know about their people, after all! So just head on to my castle once you wake up, got it?"

You then awaken from the strange dream. The current goddesses of each country in Aviyal spoke to you...

Sephine, the innocent goddess of nature...

Isyn, the mysterious goddess of water...

Vufasis, the tricky goddess of wind...

Rakhena, the tomboyish goddess of earth...

Etuna, the stubborn goddess of fire...

and finally, Lihelia, current goddess of dreams, ruler of Aviyal, and descendent of the creator of the world.

You have heard the legend of Cerutia and the Zotios before, but to have the deities wanting your aid in finding the truth...it is truly a heavy task.

Will you ignore the dream? Or will you accept the call and meet with Lihelia? The choice is completely yours.

Rules

-You can make up to 3 characters. Mentions of family/old friends that you don't RP is fine. Flashbacks are cool too. But 3 constant characters only.

-No godmodding or powerplaying. Das not cool, man.

-I'd...prefer no drama during the RP. If you have a problem with something, message me. Problem with someone? Please talk to them in a PM. I'd prefer not to see any drama or people getting upset...

-You can ONLY play as a character that is one of the races mentioned. I will be RPing the goddesses, and only me, since I know what's gonna go down.

-RESPECT. THE. OTHER. PEOPLE. PLEASE.

-Don't kill another person's character without their permission. It's not nice. At all. Talk about it in private and LET ME KNOW IF YOU DECIDE TO DO IT. I don't wanna accidentally blame someone for doing it without permission when they actually did.

-No NSFW. It's against site rules, and some people get uncomfortable with it.

-Have fun! I wanna get along with all of you lovely people~

Locations

Well, since this is your world, might as well learn about it, right?

Aviyal is an expansive world...and by expansive, I mean it. It's split up into six countries, ruled by the lines of deities that created the world.

Image

Aurevox is known as the Country of Adventurer's Dreams. It is home to the palace of Lihelia, goddess of dreams and ruler of the world. It is also home to the Explorer's Hall, a place where people from all over Aviyal can come to form groups and go on amazing adventures.

Image

Equitin is known as the Forest of Magic and Miracles. In it sits the Timeless Oak, a tree said to have been created at the same time as Aviyal itself. The oak is home to Sephine, the goddess of nature and sorcery. The main attraction besides the oak is the Sorcerer's Guild, a group dedicated to the studies of magic and the supernatural.

Image

Sacush is known as the Sea of Endless Wonder. It is surrounded by ocean, and the civilization here instead rest on islands with ports. Below the water are fish and other creatures that range from simple to beyond extraordinary. Also beneath the sea lies the temple of Isyn, the goddess of water and illusion. The attraction here is the Yayomi Lighthouse, which stands tall and guides the ships to safety.

Duwros is known as the Hills of Windy Caverns, and is a shared territory between the siblings Vufasis (goddess of wind and snow) and Rakhena (goddess of earth and mining), the outside belonging to the former and the inner caverns belonging to the latter. The land is known for its cold weather and expert crafters, and is often traveled to by those wishing to obtain or create powerful weapons, sturdy armor, or detailed furniture and clothing. The attraction is the Creator's Corner, a large building with room and materials for all kinds of crafting and creating, the people inside welcoming towards both crafter and buyer.

Image

Weshon is known as the Mass of Burning Crystals. As the name suggests, the country is built on volcanic land, and hold gems, crystals, and minerals galor, which often draws crafters and merchants to bear the insane heat and get their hands on the precious gifts of the land. In the depths of the tall volcano lives Etuna, goddess of fire and crystals. Also in the volcano is the main attraction, the Tuenia Mines, a large cave where miners come to gather precious minerals and jewels, named after Etuna's grandmother.

Image

Cerutia...the almighty mountain that sits in the middle of Aviyal. The rumored home of the winged Zotios. The mountain that touches the sun. It is known by many names, but is well known as the most mysterious thing in all of the land. It's said that the Zotios live at the top, and anyone who reaches that point is able to become one. However, nobody has yet made it...or at least, they haven't returned if they did.

Races

Image

Many races inhabit Aviyal, all with different abilities and talents. But what exactly ARE they? Let's take a look...

Heold are the equivalent of us humans. They are capable of magic, brute force, crafting, and many other things. They are the most common race in Aviyal, and come from all over, in many shapes, sizes, and colors.

Yalits are the faefolk with the wings of butterflies and dragonflies. They mainly use magic, and also are known for their expert sewing talent. They are another common race, and are often slightly shorter than an average Heold. They originate from Equitin, but have spread to the other countries.

Sheayeln are elven folk with tall, graceful figures and long, silky hair. They are regarded as possibly the most beautiful race, and are often gentle and calm. They are good with bows, magic, and thin swords like foils. They are the third most common race in Aviyal, and mainly live in Equitin.

Quatzis are a draconic race with tall, well built bodies, large scaly wings, and claws on their hands and feet. They live mainly in Weshon, and are known to be tempermental and a bit hostile towards strangers. They are mainly warriors and blacksmiths, and also can sense when gems and minerals are nearby.

Daims are merfolk-like creatures with scales on their legs and lower torso, and can breath underwater. They originate from the depths of the ocean that surrounds the islands in Sacush, but have scattered to other areas close to the sea. They are well trained in water and wind magic, and also are good spear users. Since they're mainly a combat race, they aren't often seen crafting unless those who raise them are crafters.

Gyld are golem-like creatures made of stones and gems, and originate from the caverns of Duwros, where the main part of the race still dwells. They tend to be almost emotionless, but those who are half Gyld inherit some emotions from the other species. Gyld are good at forging and fistfighting, and also tend to be hard to push over.

Lih are small, innocent imp-like creatures that reach up to the height of a young child. They originated in the outer part of Duwros, and slowly have been moving to the other countries. They are often shy and easily startled, but if someone gets close to them, they will become more talkative, and protect that person as much as they can. They are moreso crafters, but recently some have been practicing with bows and knives.

The Six Goddesses

The six goddesses that rule over the land...they do indeed mingle with their people, and each have different personalities. Let's take a look, shall we?

Image

Lihelia is the Goddess of Dreams, the ruler of Aviyal, and descendent of the very creator of the world. Though her appearance shows her as a calm, serious woman, Lihelia is actually pretty loose and sassy once you meet her. However, she is willing to give her life for her people, and cares for everyone deeply.

Image

Sephine is the Goddess of Nature and Sorcery, and the leader of the forest country Equitin. She's shy, innocent, and doesn't know much about the world outside the forest. However, she cares for the people who dwell in her woods, and watches them from the Timeless Oak to make sure they are safe.

Image

Isyn is the Goddess of Water and the Future, and the protector of Sacush. She is stern and mysterious, and can use her powers to see the future through the orb of water she carries. She lives under the waters of the country, and is often not heard from except in moments where she sees a great disaster through her pearl, which is when she rises from the depths and warns those in her country.

Image

Vufasis is the Goddess of Wind and Snow, and one of the two leaders of Duwros. She's quick, tricky, and pretty mischevious, but once you get on her good side, she won't play pranks on you...often. Deep down, she really is a supportive woman...it just...takes a while to get there.

Image

Rakhena is the Goddess of Earth and Miner's Luck. She's active and tomboyish, and loves to interact with almost everyone she sees. However, she does get serious when fighting, and is an expert with a hammer in both forging and battling. Even so, she prefers to talk things out...or beat them in a race, if that's an option.

Image

Etuna is the Goddess of Fire and Crystals. She is stubborn, cold, and isn't a good person to sneak up on, as you'll probably have a sharp katana pointing towards your face if you try. However, Etuna's simply bad with people, since she's cooped herself up in her volcanic home for so long. Once you get on her good side, she'll open up a bit, though she's still pretty cold towards even close friends.
