"you don't know the half of it. ebonypaw thinks she is good enough to be a warrior already. ashpaw is scared about being a warrior and i haven't seen silverpaw for ages. she spends more time hunting and training than all the other apprentices together." he mewed "well i know it's hard to accept but they aren't kits anymore and they need to learn to stand on their own four paws. but silverpaw will make an excellent deputy when she the time comes." she told him "you're right i'm just over reacting." he got up " are you coming it's time jaypaw was made a warrior." he left the den.

silverpaw returned to the camp dragging five dead rabbits behind her. as she entered she saw her fathers face "silverpaw where have you been? out of camp without a mentor! no cat knew where you were! you just disappeared! you are in so much trouble young lady(uh she-cat whatever)!" he yowled at her "sorry dad" she mewed "sorry SORRY doesn't cut it do you know how worried i have been? never do this again do you here me?!" he yowled at her "sorry dad but the fresh kill pile was looking really low so i thought i would go out hunting." eaglestar was too angry too listen to her he turned around and walked back to his den. "your father was just so worried dear. you did just disappear without a word" snowpelt mewed "i know mum. i just wanted to help the clan." if it wasn't for the fact that you were helping the clan you would have been held back from being a warrior." "i know mum i just wanted to help" "next time tell some cat and take a warrior with you." "yes mum" silverpaw dragged the rabbits to the fresh kill pile and then slipped off to the apprentices den. (mistypaw will become a warrior along with silverpaw ebonypaw and ashpaw in a moon.)
