Dashfoot grunted. "I got two eyes, teeth, and claws, what more do you want?" he mewed, annoyance ringing the end of his voice.

"You're pretty battered at the present," Sandfur said. "Isn't better to let healthy warriors make sure catches, then let injured ones attempt?"

Dashfoot hissed, a growl rumbling in his neck. "I WILL catch something," he growled.

"Then go catch something," Sandfur shrugged. "No use standing around and talking about it."

Actually, in the books, if the other leader was still alive, the new one didn't get any lives. While Brokenstar was still alive he was still leader, even though he was exiled, so StarClan wouldn't give Nightstar's lives to him.)
