I didnt see any comments about this so reposting c: would really like to know as there is quite a lot of hoard hating still going on, specifically in trade rules.
Obviously I'm not a staff member, but as I understand it something like this would specifically certain CS users (hoarders in this case) and would definitely offend/insult someone who does hoard, so I do not think this sort of message would be allowed.

I'd say this kinda depends on the wording, certainly anything which is anti hoard
ers can be reported, because that's attacking a group of members. Saying "I hate hoarders" or something would be reportable. But being against hoarding is kind of just a gameplay tactic, I wouldn't say it's inherently offensive to hoarders if someone is anti-hoarding? Not everyone has to go about their collection in the same way, I would take that to mean they personally don't like to hoard but it wouldn't make me feel bad about hoarding.

Of course a mod would be better off answering you than I would be. Edit: Or an admin >.<
But I am curious about this as well. I suppose this rule was meant to directly affect in real life situations which people would get offended by more so than in game shenanigans as there would be a bigger outcry if someone was offended over someone else hating on something like their sexuality, or religion for example rather than in-game shenanigans. As Tess said, think about the purpose of the message and who it will be targeted at.
So to expand on that part, it will be targeted at the act of hoarding rather than the people who hoard, which is an in-game trope as mentioned above and part of the game. Okay, for me that feels like it is part of the game more so than a directed insult at ones belief. It is like one's opinion of scamming or one's opinion of ninja trading, and I don't see those being banned as of right now, and when you think about it, and those who are labelled that are the people who get the worst of the wrap game-wise (And arguably for good reason too when everything is considered.) It's an in-game trope and banning that would probably not be for the best in that aspect, so in a reverse way I feel as if this would be the same here.
The "I don't support hoarding" (Or taking it to the next level "I don't support 'x' hoarding where 'x' could be substituted for something like rare + hoarding or something along those lines) would look to be fine (At least it looks fine with me), people have the right to say that as it is an in-game trope to how people organize pets (That's like saying "I do not like spiders, horses, chickens or rats in a sense, but just in a nicer way because where "I do not like hoarders" would for me be offensive, "I don't support hoarding" is fine as it is directed at an action rather the person, like fishing or animal cruelty or drag and alcohol abuse. etc.") And to be perfectly honest, I would rather a warning in someones trade rules or in their signature or something saying that beforehand than a rude message explaining after-hand after all, and people really shouldn't feel restricted in the way they trade their pets. Normally the reasons after it is what I don't agree with being said as it is something that really doesn't need explaining otherwise.
But, making stamps against it or going out of ones way to say anything against hoarding; such as a rant or whatever shouldn't be allowed on CS, so hoarders would be protected by that part from how I see it.
Oh, I was ninja'd whoops. Apologies >.<

The Winter Soldier wrote:I have seen a lot of people saying they will not trade with hoarders or coppas in their trade rules and signitures is this even allowed with this current rule change because I for one find that it's rude to refuse to trade with people just because your against hoarding or believe all coppas don't know how to trade properly.
This was answered above By Tess in regards to hoarding.
For Coppa'd players, I feel as if that is because that is more or less directly excluding someone/ directly aimed towards someone (For something they can't control in the first place since it is a US law for people to be coppa'd anyway) more-so than an in-game tactic even though now they do have a means to communicate by using the default messages Nick made for them. So for me it would be banned because of this.

I don't understand the phrasing of this, so I will try and answer the best I can.
A person has the right to not trade hoard pets to a hoarder if they do not support hoarding.
A person can say they do not support hoarding or are anti-hoarding, but they cannot say that do not support hoarders or anti hoarders.
The difference is supporting the action compared to supporting the person.
If the message is toward the person and not the action, then that can be reported.
Action = Hoarding
Person = Hoarders
It's basically the way it is said really.
And that is basically what is being said here.

I dislike that it won't be as big an effect on trade rules as I thought shame that people are still going to be rude and not trade with hoarders. Shame people are still allowed to bar hoarders from trading with them. seems like this will only effect coppas looks like the hoarder hate is gonna continue people just won't be able to put up I hate hoarders messages in their trades.

I believe it is justified.
It's a stalemate, which is what is needed. This rule 110% protects bullying or negativity towards hoarders, which is correct because no bullying is tolerated on CS. But the rule doesn't protect act of hoarding in the sense of saying "I am anti-hoarding" as it is a in-game tactic. Making rules so the in-game tactic is a lot more accepted is like forcing someone to do something they don't want to do, which makes the game less enjoyable and creative. It's a game and it is played at different leisure to a wide audience so for it to be as welcoming as possible, it needs to be as free and unconstrained as possible so everyone has a go at it, which means there has to be as little rules or no rules as possible, otherwise people tend to get iffy at the strictness. :P
For example, I, for one; don't support store-pet hoarding or September list + hoarding, but if someone asked for a pet that is one of those two and I end up finding out that they hoard that pet, I will politely decline with a message. I, as a trader, have the right to do that just as much as you or anyone else on CS does. And if I reply as being rude, you; as a CS user, have a right to report me as being rude. :)
It makes sense as a logical rule and I love it because of this.
I replied to this here instead of addressing you in PM just so if this is brought up again in different pages or whatever, this point ca be brought up as well to help explain why this would be. :)
Just as a Side note, I am thinking this is just a rule in general now more so than a rule for sigs :P
