➸Ever since the beginning of time, two worlds have existed. They overlap, though are not visible to one another. One of these relms is the the human world, a land of vast technological advances. But everyone knows of that, so there's no need for further explanation. The other, less known of land is that of a place called Elvian. Here things...aren't so normal. Creatures if all types reside here, capable of all sorts if powers thought to be impossible to the human mind. Many of the 'fantasy' stories written are based on this land. Here you can find anything from fairies to shapeshifters, whatever you can think of. Some have humans bodies, while others are more animalistic. Technology isn't used very much here, but that does not mean they are any less civilized. Four kingdoms reign, each basing their power on one of the four seasons.
➸Hundreds of years ago, portals started to open up, connecting the two worlds together. They're invisible to the human eye, so they were oblivious to this, but the folk of Elvian were able to use them. They adapted, most creating a human form for themselves to blend in with the mundane. However, they cannot use their powers while hidden like this, and others like them can see though their disguise. These portals are dangerous though. If you are not careful while passing through one, you could get stuck between worlds, and that is an existence worse than death.
➸Everything's changing now. These portals once only opened up deep in the forest, but now more are appearing, right in the midst of many of the human habitats. They still cannot see them, but occasionally one will walk through without them realizing it, and suddenly be thrown into a world vastly different then their own.

There's a universal law of all kingdoms that forbids any citizen of Elvian from going into the human world, unless they have express permission from royalty.
Each kingdom is placed on a land separate from each other. They each have their own form of government ruled by a queen or king. Most royalty are immortal, so these will rarely change, only when they step down or get overthrown. Many citizens in the world of Elvian will align themselves with a specific kingdom, though most are born into it. However, it is not uncommon for an individual to not be apart of any. Occasionally there will be disputes or wars between two or more of these kingdoms, though at the moment all is at peace. Members of kingdoms or not, all are free to move around as they would like. For the most part, the kingdoms are welcoming of guests, but it would be rare for them to allow an outsider into their castle. Land not part of a kingdom will go through the seasons as normal.

The winter kingdom is is placed on a land that is forever cold. No matter what time of year it is, their land will be frozen and covered in snow. Their castle is placed between two large mountains, which is covered in a thick forest of, mostly composed of pine trees. Generally, individuals apart of this kingdom have their powers originating around water and/or ice.

The spring kingdom's land is always green and bustling with life. The flowers here are always in bloom, the weather comfortably warm. The area is pretty open, with plenty of meadows and lakes. Generally, individuals apart of this kingdom have powers originating in plants or animals.

The summer kingdom is placed on a cliff overlooking the ocean. For miles around, it stays mildly hot, the sky bright and sunny or covered in white clouds. The coast stretches both ways, the cliff eventually dropping off to create a sandy beach while the land around it is generally flat. People of this kingdom usually have powers based around heat or fire.

The autumn kingdom, which can also be recognised as the fall kingdom, is located on land that always seems to have leaves falling and covering the ground. The ground is hilly with many trees and forests. Many members of this kingdom have powers of earth.

I do not want too many people with the same power. If it is an elemental power, or something like flying, since that associates with many species in Elvian, multiple people can have it. However, anything more specific, and only one character can have it. Your character many only have two powers max, three in some cases if two or more are closely linked. Don't go overboard with this.

Personality: Gray is a confident and independent person, who is logical and very intelligent. Some people think he is a little cruel and unemotional, just because he doesn't babble on about his feelings all the time as some people do. Outbursts of either anger or joy are both very rare for him, since he tries to keep himself under control at all times. He tends to deflect any personal questions and will hardly tell you more then just his name.
He is an introverted person, and dislikes crowds and strangers. Some people may think that he is shy, but really, he simply find parties and crowds to be unpleasant. He prefers to keep things calm and logical, and he doesn't like noise and chaos.
The thoughts and opinions of other people don't matter very much to him. If someone didn't like him, then he wouldn't lose any sleep over it. Those who he does grow to care about, he is very protective over.

Name: Cyris and nothing more.
Age: She doesn't know her exact age, though suspects it's somewhere between 100 and 115, time goes by strangely in Elvian. Her human form looks to be around 17 however.
Gender: Female
Species: Harpy, she has the wings and talons of a bird while the rest of her appears humans.
Power(s): Cyris can create portals, much like the ones connecting the two worlds, though far for unstable. They can allow her to travel between worlds or simply other locations. However, she can only travel to places she knows well, other than when they dump her somewhere she wasn't planning on going. She can end up in some unknown place, much to her dissatisfaction. She is also a master of hallucinations. Although this one gives her intense migraines and has often caused her to pass out, she loves playing around with it. She can make others see whatever she would like, though the bigger it is the more difficult. These imaginary forms cannot be touched, and only seen by the ones she wishes it upon.
Kingdom: Independent
Sexuality: Bisexual, with no gender preference, though she has never had a real relationship of that sort.
Personality: Cyris is a rather odd being. She plays out her life simply according to what interests her. Living as long as she has, she has since gave up trying to look good in others eyes or befriend them. She does what she wants and nothing more. Although she is not exactly cruel, she doesn't take other people's emotions into consideration and tends to act on impulse. She doesn't think about the outcomes that could befall and doesn't seem to have a real value of her life. If she died, then so be it, though it would take allot more to eliminate her than it would a human. She takes special interest in the other world, and can often be found there, befuddling the creatures that reside there with her hallucinations or simply watching them with peaked curiosity. She disregards any established rules, preferring to live her life according to her own. The only thing she does show care for are birds, both the ones in the human world and her own, though the ones here are odd.

Name: Yuki
Description: Simply put she is an ice phoenix. Blue razor sharp ice crystals make up her feathered wings and some of the longer feathers of her neck and tail. Her talons are also blue ice like razors. She has ruby red eyes and a pure white jewel in the middle of her forehead. She is very large and does not fit in small corridors.
Human form: none now. But will make one if needed.
Age: this is unknown.
Gender: female
Species: Ice Pheonix
Power(s): She can breathe razor hail and snowstorms. Any of her physical attacks give a freezing burn and can even infect and freeze someone if left untreated. (Obviously could fly)

Personality:She seems cold and not very friendly. Though she is actually much kinder than she looks.
