Spirit is usually a very passive belldee. He may have ASD; he is fond of sorting things into size and colour, and he doesn’t quite understand his peers, preferring to wander off to find interesting objects to play with and catalogue. He is quite intelligent, but he struggles to understand limitations he needs to have and occasionally he has no inhabition; walking or flying up to strangers and talking to them as if he had always known them. Also, time to time, he finds himself unable to communicate how he is feeling and talks faster and sometimes his speech is slurred; like he has had a bit to much champagne.
Perhaps one of his most curious behaviors is when he does something wrong but he doesn’t understand why and knows he will get into trouble for it, he will happily stare at you – as a Belldee can, anyway – and often times he looks so much like a puppy tilting his head at you you have to let him go. Afterwards, you might see him laughing bubbly – and it’s a tipsy kind of laugh – and all you can do is shake your head at him as he goes on his way.
:What is your New Year's Resolution?:
To change or start something. To have a change in perspective about a topic and to stop feeling like I'm being dragged along with fate; I want to actually influence something. I'm fed up with having negative feelings about something, whether it is nostalgia or anger, sadness or jealously, I want to change that point of view into something positive and I need to do something to achieve that. It's confusing, but what this is about is that people often say that I am anything but a sheep, but they only got that idea from my attitude, not my actions, and I need to confirm that I am not someone who follows other people for a reason other then my own. I need this for myself and my resolution is that I'm going to find that opportunity, that open door, and I am not going to restrict myself by the social laws of other people. And if I have to, I'll make my own door, and open that.
