Probably; some people just do that. Just like I've heard and seen users breeding and dropping golden wyverns and many other rares for fun.

But more often, you see examples like the mass olive breeding.

Or it could be the system cleaning out more unpopular/common eggs, preparing for a new species...

Ahh! Yes, I should stop assuming because the system cleaning out unpopular eggs seems more logical to me XD.

Tbh I would drop golden wyvern eggs if I had the chance I just need to make more breeding pairs first, i'm not very lucky with them yet. What tis the point of hogging all those dragons to myself anyways :L

Now my hopes are up, hehe. I drop vampires sometimes, despite the fact that they aren't really 'rare' any more. In fact, I'm gonna go abandon some now, see ya
