Falconbreeze continued to watch over the kits, though he felt himself begin to feel a little sleepy. He managed to stay awake, however, his tail swaying back and forth as his Amber eyes began to scan the nursery.

Whitekit's breathing started to slow. She hadn't mewed but once since birth.

"it's okay." Talonclaw mewed. "Just know I'll be here if you need me." The tom sniffed the air. "I'm going back to camp to get some sleep," he mewed.

Falconbreeze turned his attention once more back to the kits, touching his nose to each of their sides gently. However, when he felt Whitekit's, he frowned, realizing her breathing was slow. Hurriedly, he began to rub her carefully. "Come on now, little one. Please, please be okay..."

Whitekit's little heart stopped, her already chilled body starting to stiffen.

Falconbreeze's eyes widened as he once again checked Whitekit's breathing. "No no no.... Your mom needs you!" He hissed in a desperate tone, still working to get her to breathe again; he was determined to not let the kit die. He didn't have time to get the medicine cat, though he yowled loudly from the nursery for help.

Hazelfur awoke from a nap, his blue-green eyes widened with shock at Falconbreeze's yelling. He hurriedly ran to the nursery, slipping inside with ease. "Falconbreeze! What's wrong??" He was surprised. He hadn't even known the tom could talk.

"Whitekit isn't breathing! Please, help...! I promised Foxcloud I'd look after them, and now this happens...." The dusty brown warrior was starting to lose it.

"Alright, alright. Just calm down." The medicine cat meowed as he padded over, gently nudging Falconbreeze aside as he began to work with Whitekit himself. "Please StarClan, help this kit..." He murmured.
