maybe when haku was a child, they could have been like next-door neighbors, but when
he moved away to the mainland, his family always came back to visit hawaii in the summer
and the two were play-mates. and when haku got the chance to transfer to hawaii, he made
sure it was kai who was gonna be his partner?
