"That's not the point!" Katarina yelled. Tears started falling from her eyes. "You toyed around with my feelings and you didn't care! You never stopped to consider my feeling!" She yelled. Katarina was gripping her dagger so hard her cuts on her hand started bleeding again. She turned and left him with that. The tears poured down her face. "Why? Why do I love such a jerk so much?" She cried. She couldn't let anyone else see her like this.... The Great Katarina..... broken and defeated.

(( Lordy this RP was practically dead all day and at midnight it pops you guys are like vampires XD ))

Phydra did a small glance back at the door. She knew exactly where they would be, heading out on the path to Dragon Bridge, where she would be following, or waiting. Hopefully, the agent would be dead before then. She shrugged, slapping her pride in its rear out the door as she played dumb. "What do you think happened?"

Still fuming at himself, and heart still aching, Gale threatened to cry several times on his trek back to the Nightingale Hall, hot tears stinging his eyes until he blinked them away. He regretted dropping the amulet into the canal now, as now there was an empty space around his neck where it should have been. He sighed in frustration as he slipped inside Nightingale Hall, and headed straight for his quarters. No one was here, which made the huge hall feel almost creepy. He wanted to leave the sanctuary as soon as possible, shoving into his Nightingale armor as swiftly as he could, casting wary glances around the room. Something wasn't right. Shadows were moving strangely, small breaths he was almost sure weren't his own. He pulled his hood up slowly, teeth grit, and weapon in hand. A near silent drawing of weapons around the hall realized his worst fear. Someone had managed to breach the sanctity of Nightingale Hall. No matter, Gale was going to make them pay.

Zachariah rolled his eyes. 'Women ... I've never understood them,' he thought, although he had to admit he felt bad, despite the fact that he had no idea what he did wrong. He hadn't been intentionally trying to hurt Katarina. "You're overreacting!" he called after her. "Are you so insecure that me not constantly being within your proximity is enough to hurt your feelings? Because, trust me, you have no reason to be insecure. I don't love anyone but you," he said, voice reassuring, yet slightly distant.

Gwyneth shrugged. "Don't know - you've been in here longer than I have. But I do intend on finding out," she said, voice growing softer and softer the closer she got to the end of her sentence. She leaned forward, pondering over where, exactly, Dragon Bridge was. She'd been there before, once or twice, but it also happened to have been a long time since she visited the area last.

Katarina made a fist. "Then prove it. Prove to me that it's me you want!" Katarina turned to face him. "Cause I'm still not convinced you really care and love me." She said and pointed her dagger at him. Her blood dripped from the orcish blade.

Gale closed his eyes, for a moment, hearing the careful pairs of footsteps start to close in around him. Gale slowly reached into the holster on the side of his armor, fingers wrapping around the hand-crossbow in a death-grip.
"You have one chance to lay down your weapons." Gale practically snarled, hearing the near-silent sound of daggers being drawn from their sheathes somewhere in the darkness, "Because I am really not in the mood." His voice was tipped with an icy venom that normally the thief wouldn't be thought capable of. He counted at least five intruders shifting in the shadows, and urged them to strike first. They did, one surging forward from the darkness, swinging his dagger in quick, short motions. Gale scrutinized the intruder from what they were: a Morag Tong assassin, a group who's worst rivals were the Dark Brotherhood.
"What in Oblivion..." Gale muttered, dodging the whirlwind of attacks the assassin was directing at him. Why were they here? The Thieves Guild and the Morag Tong had never conflicted before, so he couldn't wrap his head around why they were invading their territory like this. Unless... Gale paled slightly underneath his armor. They were after Zachariah, trying to hurt the Brotherhood in any way they could, even if it meant killing the Listener's love, and his best friend. Gale couldn't let them. He wouldn't let them.

Synette
Synette Greensmith walked through the forest,
relying on her sense of direction to guide her
toward the town. The now useless pot lay in the
bottom of a crude leather bag slung across her
shoulders. She looked back often, occassionally
worryig about her tree trunk and the belongings
she had left behind. It would all be easy picki-
ngs for thieves should they manage to see past
the camouflage that no longer seemed to be up
to scratch as she walked farther and farther
away. But she tried to remind herself of the last
two trips. How nothing had gone remotely wro-
ng. And while that thought did help finish her
worries, they still lurked at the back of her mind.
She stretched her toes, uncomfortably wrapped
in leather boots so she wouldn't seem as feral.
Synette wondered if she would be better off su-
mmoning a horse to carry her on the trip to civ-
ilization, but decided against it jest the horse
make her lazy and weak. No, the horse would
only be an option when absolutely necessary.
So she trudged on, but compromised the decisi-
on by summoning a dog familiar to keep her
company. She began to whistle a tune, low eno-
ugh so that bandits or raiders wouldn't hear, but
enough to keep her spirits up.

Phydra smiled at her. A sweet, sweet smile that didn't fit her face. "How will you do that, then?" She may have just willed the girl to make sure her sister rots in prison. Then again, she could just be a bluff. The bosmer honestly hoped she was, for her involvement would cause not-nice encounters between them, that of which the elf really didn't want. 'She's an elf, you skeeverhole' Phydra ridiculed herself. 'You've killed high elves before. This isn't a dear or a wolf.' She almost cringed in embarrassment from her own thoughts. Wolves and deer were considered terrible things to harm to her? Some assassin she was. Thank god no one preformed the black sacrament on rabbits. Phydras hand came a little bit closer to the companions without her notice as she indulged in her thoughts for a quick second

Zachariah glowered at the Nord, hands clenching into fists. "How? Just tell me to do something, and I'll do it. For you - though I'm not convinced you'd believe me, even then," he said, looking behind the dagger directed at him and gazing into Katarina's eyes. He only then noticed that the cuts on her hand were bleeding, however he ignored it, having already fed that day. If he was a newborn vampire, he wouldn't be capable of resisting the sight, or even the smell, of blood at all. Luckily, however, he was not a newborn. Though, considering the fact that he was fuming on the inside, the otherwise unnoticeable temptation was becoming harder and harder for him to fully resist.

Gwyneth blinked, thinking. How would she do that? Perhaps she just could follow the duet to Dragon Bridge? She might be able to catch up to them if she left the inn quickly enough. An Argonian paired with a Khajiit prisoner would not be too hard to notice, after all. Those two races were rarely seen in Skyrim anymore, as they were often ridiculed. "Depends," she answered vaguely, knowing that her answer would not be a very satisfying one to her Bosmer friend.
"All I want to know is whether that cat is guiltly or not guilty," she stated truthfully, eyes veering downward as she spotted Phydra's hand moving closer to her own. She inadvertently moved her hand closer without intention, until their fingertips were brushing against the other's.

"....... Show me." Katarina said. More blood dripped from her hand. "Show me you love me." The Listener said. She dropped her dagger. She stood there looking at him.
