Owlstar flattened her ears at his serious tone, but quickly hid the motion. "SunClan is ever growing. We have many new members," she answered.

Dashfoot nodded, flicking his tail. "It is good to see both clans striving." He looked at Owlstar, then filched away, thinking for a moment before speaking. "These are good times for our clans, thank Starclan," the tom mewed.

"Yes, though StarClan seems so quiet lately..." Owlstar meowed as she tilted her head up to the sky.

"I haven't spoken to MoonClan's medicine cat, maybe we can learn something after the gathering," he thought, looking into the sky. "We can't know for sure."

Hazelfur eventually grew bored of sitting by himself. Being the social butterfly he was now, he got to his paws, padding over to Goldeneyes with a bright smile. "Hi there."

Graywhisker purred happily, nuzzling his muzzle against Aspen's gently. "This is great.... I never could've imagined becoming a father, but... Wow." He couldn't help but grin.

Silverpaw blinked, then smiled brightly. "Really? Thank you, Shadowflight~" She mewed. "I'm sure you were a great warrior, too. And you still are."

"Maybe..." Owlstar whispered. She lowered her gaze to the ground. Even though she was understanding of cats, Gatherings have always made her awkward since she was an apprentice.

Aspen sighed. "A cat like you? Nah. But I suppose I have to join SunClan permanently, unless the kits want to know of their mixed blood."

Dashfoot turned towards her. "Are you okay?" he asked, tilted his brown head.

Owlstar looked up. "Yes, why wouldn't I be?" she asked.

Dashfoot licked a for-paw. "I was just wondering," he mewed, thinking hard and looking at the sliver-pelt sky.
