Johnathan choked on a breath, frown vanishing beneath his visor into a shocked grin. "You-.. You weren't kidding. That's some gap." He laughed, hand moving to scratch the back of his neck. "Twenty one.. I wouldn't have imagined." He murmured, mostly to himself.

"Twenty One and a half" he corrected rather child like "Technically on my files I'm older. I'm still legal though" he explained making hand gestures that didn't quite match what he was saying. "Still, to you I'm probably still just a kid" Ruby let out a sigh, and crossed his arms continuing to follow behind Maine.

((Iota and Church got out of Eris' head and Iota recently left to go find Church. Ruby and Alaska are following behind Maine having a conversation and most that has happened is conversational.))

Johnathan snorted. "Everyone is a child to me at this point, Michael. All so innocent, bare-skinned. Either born into this war or shielded from it, doesn't make a difference." He slung his rifle onto his back, cracking his knuckles absentmindedly, before letting out a soft bark of laughter. "Kid you may be, but you're twenty one and a half, and legally an adult." He grinned. "And, legally able to be mine."

"I mean my heart issues alone would make me unable to be issued into the military, so of cource I lied" he shrugged and looked to Johnathan, going red in the face only being slightly visible from the space where he skin was visible on his neck. He started coughing, when Johnathan said that he was his. "I guess so.." Ruby scoffed clearing his throat, purposefully trying to annoy him.

Johnathan frowned, squinting at Ruby. Cocking his head to the side he suddenly lunged to the side and towards Ruby, bumping into him with a playful ferocity that wasn't entirely uncommon for him. But before he sent Ruby flying into the other wall, he wrapped an arm protectively around the other, leaning with him before balancing themselves out. In the end, he stood with an arm wrapped around Michael's shoulders, hugging the other close as he leaned to balance himself out after his mock-assault of the other.

"No, Maine gave my chip back, they know where I am" He shook his head "I know this may sound absurd but I think Maine actually cares about Eris," he stated simply waiting for his response.

"Jaytch please," he whined, trying to wiggle out of the other's grip. "While I agree that was kinda fun, it wasn't the saf-" he shut himself up nothing was really safe here. He gave up trying to get free from his grip and sighed "You're a huge nerd Ice-boy HUGE nerd"
