She sighed softly and walked forward seeking out some sweeter grass. She took a couple steps forward than heard a snarl. She looked up alarmed as a cougar made his way towards her. She let out a scream of terror as it jumped on her back

I hear a sharp whinnie of panic and a growl of a cougar and bound over the hill. I spot a mare in distress, a cougar on her back. I quicken my pace, bending my head towards my chest. As I near her, I jump up and kick the cougar off of her.

She quickly stood up and hid behind arwhite. Her legs trembling she whimpered softly

I snort and stamp my hooves, swishing my tail. I step on the cougar's paws when he tries to get closer. I bite at his face and neck, and eventually he runs off.
