Piper giggled at his awkward gesture, then grabbed his hand and pulled him over towards the Slytherin table. " You're really going to listen to that silly rule? We won't get in trouble for it, come on!" She swung herself onto the bench, a couple of other Slytherins were staring at Percy, confused as to why a Gryffindor was at the Slytherin table.

Percy blinked in surprise as he was tugged along by Piper. He shot a glance over at his own table where his group of friends where watching him with smirks on their faces. He cased glares at them before taking a seat next to Piper. It was so odd for a Gryfindor to be seated at the Slytherin table. He seemed like a bright orange flame in a pool of green. His fingers twitched nervously, or excitedly. "You sure your Slytherin friends don't mind?" he asked glancing around at the watching faces. Some where shocked, others glaring, most not caring. He didn't worry about what people thought for now. He focused his attention back to Piper.

" Nah, they don't care," She shrugged, casting them a look that told them to stop gawking. She smiled at Percy, " If you feel more comfortable sitting by your friends though I understand." She turned back to the table where food was now appearing. At once her friends started plucking things off the table and placing them on their plates. Piper however took nothing and watched the others pick food up ravenously.

Percy shook his head and started to pile things on his plate as well "Nah. I like sitting over here" he said and gave her a grin. No he liked sitting with her. Percy took a few bites of his food before glancing back at Piper "Gonna eat anything?" he asked pausing his intake of food.

Piper blinked a couple of times, " Wha--? Oh... I'm not that hungry right now," She shrugged, but plucked a grape off of one of the bunches and popped it into her mouth. " I kinda snack throughout the day."

Percy nodded "I guess that is understandable" he said before taking a few more bites of his chicken. He glanced at Piper from time to time, noticing different features of her face each time. "I didn't think you would say yes" he said after a moment, finally setting his fork down. He remembered he had practice tomorrow morning and would rather not have a stomach ache.

Theo stopped walking when he face slammed into the doors of the great hall. Wonderful. Now he had a red mark on his forehead and looked stupid. Great way to start the day. Theo muttered curses under his breath and took a few steps back. He didn't really want to go to lunch, it wasn't his thing. He skipped enough classes skipping lunch wont hurt anyone. He peeked his head inside the great hall for a split second hoping no one had seen him bump his head, before turning and vanishing down the corridor.

" How come?" She asked, turning towards him. She leaned onto the table, resting her head on her hand and spinning a spoon on the table with her other hand. Piper looked up from the spoon to see Percy looking at her, smiling gently.
