"I did too," Tinyshadow said. "So, are you hoping to go to the gathering tomorrow?" She asked him. After she did, she took another bite of the vole before shoving the rest towards him. "You can have the rest. I'm not really hungry."

Softfeather purred in amusement. "It seems we both entertained the same day. I wonder if it means anything?" She said half to herself. The she-cat flicked her tail across her back before letting it relax. It flicked back and forth slightly, but is was one of her many habits. "So are we going to just talk the whole time?" She questioned.

"Hmm.." TallStep perked his ears, looking into SoftFeathers eyes. "What do you want to do then?" He asked, a small smirk on his face. The tom watched her eyes sparkle, becoming less tense.

He looked at the vole. "Are you sure? I'm not that hungry either." Birchstorm looked to the leader's den, then back. "Of course, I hope Stormstar'll let me. Do you want to go too?"

"I don't know," she said. "How about you? Or do you just want to stay and talk?" Softfeather asked. The she-cat pressed her nose to his before backing away with a glint of much and hope in her gaze.

"Positive," Tinyshadow said. She listened to the next few words and his question and immediately started nodding. "Yeah. I like going to gatherings and I really hope he ends up taking me."

"Well I- " TallStep began, stopping mid sentence as he felt her muzzle touch his nose. He felt this pain in his chest as he sat awkwardly silent. The pain urged towards SoftFeather, who stood right on front of him. The tom couldn't bear it- he slowly got up and closed his eyes before meeting his muzzle to hers.

Softfeather began to purr in content. The she-cat finally pulled back and blinked soft blue eyes up at him. "I'm guessing you feel the same way?" She questioned him with a soft voice.

Birchstorm ripped into the vole. "I wouldn't worry about it, Stormstar would want some peaceful cats at the Gathering. We're on good terms with SunClan right now. Let's just hope it stays that way," he meowed.

His mouth twitched into a smile, "Of course, you give meaning to my life." He tried to act romantic as well as being honest, and she was indeed. The tom looked into her soft gaze and held it there.
