Meet Kate Evangeline Austen. Kate is an 18-year old whose birthday is August 3rd. She identifies as female and prefers she/her pronouns. Kate is a city slicker - she was born in a big city and has lived there all her life. Kate is single and has labeled herself pansexual, and is open to the idea of a partner.
Kate is, if there is one word to describe her, it's "energetic". She is a fantastic musician, and loves playing both acoustic and electric guitar. However, she also has a passion for driving fast cars and motorcycles. Kate is full of surprises and is always pulling random things out of her brain to amuse people. She's a lover of animals but doesn't mind eating them, and she's popular with the guys (and sometimes the gals). This girl is off the rails with energy, she's always enthusiastic and willing to help out. But if you make her mad, that energy converts into raw fury, and she is a force to be reckoned with when she's ticked off. Kate is a girl with a stubborn attitude, but who also is very determined and willing to do anything to achieve her goals. She's ready to go and she isn't gonna stop till she gets there - that's just the way she is.
Kate grew up in a very average household for the first five years of her life. Her mother and father were loving and kind, and spoiled her with toys and whatever else she wanted - they were rich, after all. But when she was about five and a half years old, her father was killed in a mass shooting, and her mother remarried when she was seven - to a much worse man. He did the opposite of spoiling Kate - he never gave her anything she needed or wanted, including the love that a parent should provide. Her mother knew that he wasn't a good person, but couldn't do anything about it, as he threatened her with violence and beatings if she protested his actions. Kate's only outlet at that time was her music, and so she would play whenever her "father" wasn't home. She ended up teaching herself both guitar and self-defense in the form of martial arts, as she had to protect herself from her "father"'s violent actions. In the past few years, her mother finally divorced the man, and she's got her life back on track. They moved out to the country to get a change of pace and a breath of fresh air after living in the city all their lives, and here she is now.
