Gwyneth changed into some more casual clothing once she was safely in her room, the door closed behind her. She narrowed her eyes, examining the furniture. It wasn't much, though she didn't expect a lot from this skeever hole of a city, home of the Thieves' Guild. Ah, she despised those thugs, as she did the Dark Brotherhood. When she was a girl, she had wanted to join the Penitus Oculatus, but they declined, saying she might make a better Thalmor agent instead. Well, she didn't like the Thalmor - so she took the next best thing, a spot in the Companions'.
Soon she left the room, deciding she might as well buy a drink or two. Relax some, after a successful mission. She ordered a mead from the bartender, then took an empty seat next to the only Bosmer in the inn. "Hello," she greeted Phydra coolly, small smile on her face. "How are you?" she asked casually, taking a sip of her mead when the bartender passed it over to her.

Phydras head turned a bit too quickly at the sudden voice. The high elf of which she noticed before had sat down next to the bosmer. It was at this moment the girl wondered how she was noticed. 'Well, perhaps I'm the only wood elf in this room.' she pondered with mockery placed towards her in mind, giving the.. rather attractive elf a smile. "Nice to meet you." She found herself in need to fiddle with the bottle in which her drink was contained

After a while, Za'ji's eyes flickered open. She couldn't sleep, not yet. She still had some things she wanted to discuss, but not with Za'zah. Not that she couldn't talk to him, she just needed a woman's advice. Quietly getting out of bed and throwing her dress on over her armor, she stealthily picked her way over to the door, closing it quietly so as not to disturb her friend. Heading back out into the main room, she saw her sister still at the bar, talking to another elf. The khajiit took a seat on the other side of the wood elf, then stared dejectedly down at the wooden surface of the bar, deciding how best to phrase her question.

Phydra flinched at the sound of skin and armor meeting the wood of a chair. It seems that her sister from previous encounters had come along. Looking at the elf's face once more, she lightly turned her head. "Sister?"

"Hello, sister," Za'ji said, her gaze not leaving the table. She was still rolling her question around in her head, trying to find a coherent way to say it. Eventually she said "I'm probably going to sound silly, asking you this, but how do you tell if you're in love with someone?"

Phydra blinked for a second. This was a rather sudden question to throw out there, but she supposed she should help her sister In some way. "I'm no expert, but.." She taps the wood of the counter. Umm... I suppose you can tell when.. You see their face and you just know you'd go to the ends of the earth with them, I guess..?"

"But what if you're not sure?" Za'ji asked. "What if you like them, and you know that they love you, but you don't know if you love them back?" Her thoughts drifted to Za'zah, still asleep in his room. He had dropped everything to go with her, but she still felt as if she barely knew him. He had obviously fallen in love with her at first sight, but where did that leave her?

Phydra sighed. 'my oh my.' She took a sip of her mead, ignoring the previous thought of poison as soon as this predicament showed up. "If you aren't ready to spend the rest of your life with a person don't do it. Wait until your ready. If they push on you then they don't love you enough to respect your boundaries. If you really feel at peace with this person and you are absolutely positive they truly make you happy then I think your okay." She never talked this much. Only when she was stressed or at the sudden predicament in which she had to give major choices or someone was relying on her.

"Okay," Za'ji said. She knew that, while Za'zah was truly in love with her, she still wasn't in love with him. Not yet anyway. " But if they love you, truly love you, how can you tell them you don't love them without destroying their feelings?" Maybe it was the aftereffects of the mead, but Za'ji was in an uncharacteristically somber mood. She'd have to make up for that tomorrow. Someone was getting a bucket of water on their head.
