Has joining WMEs affected you in any way?
Good; I learned about the species and the players. I made new wonderful friends to share my interest with, I became friends with some of the artists. I learned things about horsy. I got to watch people learn and grow as members and artists. It encouraged me to draw digital dispite not being able to afford a tablet. I've learned patience, acceptance and to do other things with my time.
When I was given a warning, it gave me an insight to how horsy actually feels. While she often tries to keep herself composed, she herself is a human and things bother her. Even if I may not always agree with her. I've had people realize that, im the type of person that will call somebody out when they are doing something wrong. Especially if it's in a friend's direction.
Bad; There were times where our oppinions weren't permitted. There's often a lot of trouble with members not thinking about the staff as human beings who make mistakes and have feelings. There's been a lot of fights to break-out, that aren't always roped in quickly. Sometimes I feel we need a debate thread for these topics as with everyone posting oppinions we fly through more pages then we should. There's an awkward or uncomfortable air around the club, to the point where I just kinda read some posts and wander off until the topic changes.
I feel like sometimes, things get ran over in favor of when equids are looking for mates. But admittedly I don't think many people look at the match-making thread.
What was your reaction when you first saw each of your equids (breedings, adopts, or customs)?
Sinner it took me five months after first trying for wme to win her and she was perfect for me; Still is.
Swan I wasn't very sure about, I thought she was pretty and the longer people kept talking about her in the stream the more I thought about it and ended up wanting her. Though I felt pretty bad for the people who also really wanted her. I was still thrilled I won her.
I was extremely excited for Sirius and not at all disappointed when he was born.
Gherrideli was one of my favorite equids made, so I am proud to own him.
Rushford of course I was happy, but I was admittedly shocked. I was surprised I had won him, usually when I really like an equid I don't win them.
Euphoria I was thrilled for, I adored her colors.
Snow Dove was a bit of a surprise, I wasn't sure I liked her then she grew on me.
Link of course I was excited about, his parents had similar coats and he was going to be my forever baby one way or another. He did have a bit of a change because he had most of his mother's looks.
Dahlia I cried a bit, it was also when I realized that Sirius's daughters carry his coat color.
Clarice I was pleasantly surprised, I hadn't expected her to look the way she did.
Major, I was once again shocked as I had thought again I'd try but I wouldn't get my hopes up.
Sire I was extremely shocked and stunned. As he was not only the third picture equid I had won in a row he was the third stallion too.
