Ah, I see. I have a question though (lol I have too many >w<): Can daemons switch between forms, almost as shape-shifters? Or do they almost always just have one form, or none at all? What is your daemon's current form? o:

Sy personally likes to stick with forms resembling foxes or coyotes. I suspect it's cause for the longest time that's what we've seen ourselves as. But I'm sure that the 'true' form and the form they project at is different. A daemon only has one singular form, but that doesn't mean you can't see them in a different way. Sometimes, back when I didn't have such a hard time projecting, Sy would turn into a mouse and sit on my shoulders when I needed comfort. He doesn't have to stay a certain shape, but he has a singular form which is the one which is his, if any of that makes sense ahahah

Shifting depends on the dae's personality. Some enjoy staying in their designated form, others shift into so called comfort forms for whatever reason. Maybe because it's fun, maybe because the human needs encouragement, etc. E.g. when I'm scared, Tos will shift into aan Arabian leopard because it gives me courage, even if it's nowhere near my own personality. He's still a binturong though:3

Edit;; A great way to come up with names is to combine already existing ones (maybe ones whose meaning has something to do with your dae) in a word combiner ^^ [link]

Dael and I are still looking for his full name, and this is super helpful! Oh, and Dael shifts forms all the time. From some little rodent when I need comfort to his black wolf form when I'm scared, and often just random things because he's bored. He played around with becoming different kinds of rings yesterday, that was interesting (though he looked pretty good as a diamond ring xD)

Also, I'm interested in tulpas, but know almost nothing about them. Anyone have some good links to help get me started?

I imagine he eats in the foresty place I've given him to live in my head (which makes no sense when I say it, oops), but I usually don't project him eating. Occasionally he'll share a meal with me, but not very often

Nah. Sy's never shown much interest in food at all. I suppose he's too focused on making me remember to eat. Pfft.

Nah, not unless it in some way or another can set me off. As I've said earlier in this thread, we're both very aware of the fact that he's merely a projection of my mind, and so love playing around with projecting (that is, when I actually remember to project him).

And I would answer the question about Si eating, but I was just given form last night (and really today) so... I can't answer it. Although he does seem interested in eating food, even though he knows he's just a projection. cx
