Thranduil somehow managed to pull Legolas into a hug, burying his face in his son's hair. "Legolas, my son, if you were cruel you would not care. What you just said shows that your heart is made of gold," the king said sincerely. "I love you so much," he said quietly, voice cracking even more as he held back tears from the sudden mood swing.

Tears began rolling down his face, his heart warming up as his father spoke. "I love you too dad. I promise I will never get mad at you ever again." he said, choking on his tears. He squeezed his father, probably a little too tight.

Gil-Galad nodded and simply took her hand he had learned a lesson there evidently Kili's mother did not like to be complimented by elves period he couldn't help but feel slightly disappointed why he wasn't even sure it wasn't like he'd been rejected by an elf maiden so he wasn't completely sure why. "i still think you should back off of the whole tradition issue" He muttered

Saelweth smiled it was great to see father and son getting along again she looked at her son picking him up for first time since she'd hurt her wrist which had since healed and simply cradled him in her arms.

Gil-Galad seemed to have a rather sullen look on his face he was taking having his compliment rejected pretty hard.

Thranduil squeaked painfully as Legolas squeezed him just a tad bit too tight, but otherwise said nothing. He didn't want Legolas to feel worse than he was already feeling.

For once, he is riding the mare he'd gotten as a gift from Oiche when he was 17, and for once he isn't paying much attention to anything but the soft music comming from the throat of the tiny two-throated flute in his hands. His hair is curly from dried sweat and his eyes are down-cast as he rides, trusting his mount to not only follow, but to keep up. Morag exhales and stows the instrument away in a small pouch on his hip before 'tic-tic'ing and sending her faster, to the side and front of the group. So many people are driving the usually solitary man insane.

"Welcome to the club," she said, her mind now shifting to Kili, "Where is he? Kili? Kili?!" She left the elf, leaving to look for his son. She needed to make sure he was okay, other wise she would never be able to forgive herself. "Kili!" she yelled.

"Sorry..." he said, feeling his father tense up and hearing his squeak. He slowly let his father go and smiled. He then turned and waved to Helrenthrad, deciding he was going to be nice to whoever his father may love. He then bowed to Saleweth and walked back over to Maethriel.
