Mewons Artist Competition - Accepting!

Welcome to Mewons!

Mewons are incredibly tiny pixelated space creatures. They will fit very nicely in a signature or any other empty space. They are similar to a cat in body structure except for the large object on their head resembling a planet. They are very intelligent and use a currency called 'Planetary Credits'. It looks very similar to the planet on top of a mewon's head.

This Mewon is a bit... different. It seems as though they were tamed beforehand, and wearing collars showing their previous capture. They also display un-discovered marking round the eyes, and a small band on the leg.

How do you use the given lines? I'll edit this post once I know how to use the lines. I'll edit it to my entry.

I use GIMP, and use select by color while I click on the gray. Then I color it in.

Hmm, it's not quite what I'm looking for. I nearly always use either pixelated designs and/or gradients. I'd suggest trying one of those things...
Also, you could try making a litter, complete with codeword!(So I can see what your litters look like all together)

Hmm, interesting line edits. I'd not do line edits as often, though they look pretty neat here. (I'm actually working on a winged Mewon line art!) A small thing: Why did you color the planet rings?
Oh, and I'd like to see at least one gradient and some more complicated designs not focusing so much around the line edits. I'm sorry, but these just aren't what I'm looking for. Hmm, and I think I'll try redrawing these Mewons in my style, to show you what I'm looking for!

Ooh! I like them! Yes, I wasn't actually entering them, I didn't know you accepted multiple entries! I just did them for fun, but I LOVE your version^^

Well, anything black shouldn't be colored, as it just looks wrong. So, although your idea was good, I'm not sure you should be an artist. I know you'd love to be one, though.
