I see more frog than koi on the chicken, but I don't really care WHAT they are, so long as they look great.

i don't get where the koi idea come from, i don't see a "koi" when i look at it.

People think koi because kois are generally patchy like the chick is but yellow and black is an unpopular color for kois. Some kois also have the reddish orange cap going on but I couldn't find a pic of a yellow black capped koi.

Mm. I know what koi look like, I just don't see a resemblance with this chick and koi. Yes, patchy but I don't see koi. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Oh boy my pets are super duper late this month, I think I adopted them like 8 hours late. I needed my sleep that night >.<

I think they are frogs. I simply don't see the koi fish. I know the colors are common koi colors, but the way the chicks are spotted are not the way a koi is spotted.
