Tami trudged through the snow, her long blonde hair left how it was when she woke up and with a white hat jammed on top of it. Her white coat hid the amount of layers she had on to keep her warm. The black boats covered most of her legs, but the remaining parts of legs were frozen. Her brown eyes looked around for her friends, or Tamesis, but it was too early for others to be out. It was half past four in the morning, and still dark.
She was leaving fresh marks in the unmarked snow, but she didn't really care. The whole place looked peaceful when no-one was around, and she often walked the streets around there this early in the morning.
Tamika knew it was the only way to get away from her abnormally large family without someone noticing her as she was often stopped and asked to look after her younger siblings when she didn't have college. Not that she minded looking after her younger sisters, but her brother was the worst. He often fought and bit her, and distracted her from her homework. Now she had a lock on her door, and was the only one with a key. Tami spent most of her time away from the house, and her majorly annoying siblings, near the lake nearby. Often she would meet up with some friends there when they were awake, and sometimes see Tamesis. Despite the cold, she blushed when she thought of him.
Reaching the lake, she sat beneath a tree and pulled out her homework from her bag - and a torch - before starting to work on it. Her Buisness and Management Course given her loads of homework that needed to be done over the holidays. It wasn't her chosen subject, her dad had expected her to take it and so she had to. Luckily he had let her take one of her own choice of subjects, and she had chosen Sports Studies. Beside all of her homework, she had all of the sports that she took part in, and had limited time. Later today she would go to a skiing class before going to a Dance Competition. Tomorrow she would have a football (soccer) match and then Snowboarding class.
Hours later, Tamika heard someone approaching. Hastily she pushed the now completed homework into her white rucsack before standing up. She had stashed the torch back in there when it had first started to get light, and so didn't have to fumble around with it.
