Mouse smiled. "'Kay! Cool. Let me ask Mom." he said, then turned his head to the rocks he knew his Mom was on. "Be right back." He padded close to the rock piles base. "MOM!" he yells. Aurora blinks and looks at him.
"Right here." she laughs.
"Can I go outside with Fawny?" he asks. Aurora looks at him,

"How many pretties do I have to put in front of please to make you let me go? Pretty, pretty, pretty-" Aurora silenced him by flicking her tail.
"All right-" Mouse started jumping around, "BUT" with that one word, Mouse stares at her. "Don't go too far, make sure Dad's okay with it, and-" Mouse braced himself for the dreaded rule, "take your sister." she finishes.
"Mo-om." he whines, tilting his head. Aurora laughs.

"Fine." he grumbles. As he turns to pad away, Aurora clears her throat. He looks back at her.

"There you go! Have fun!" she calls to him as he pads back to his brother.
