Is anyone else hoping that these kittens


Are some kind of sabertooth tiger thing?

Kind of like Shira from Ice Age?

saber tooth cats would be cool but I doubt these cats are saber tooths because the stripes are atypical for these. Even though many people say "saber tooth tiger", they are actually no tigers and are rarely depicted with tiger stripes. (I honestly don't remember one single saber tooth depiction with tiger stripes...)

See, but we have rabbit edits that are actually birds on CS. Never think logically when it comes to cute fluffy virtual pets C;

They're actually smilodons, I know this, but saber toothed cats/tigers/etc. are common and more recognized as a name than "smilodon".

Smilodons usually have bobtails right? That would be super cute

True, and Smilodon is only one among many. But also, even when thinking of "saber tooth tiger" most people imagine an animal that's either sand-colored or spotted.
