Piper & Wren
Piper walked up to the door with the case worker and the little girl, taking a deep breath. This is it, Piper. This is your new life. She was astound by how large the house was, and she couldn't wait to get inside and explore. She watched as the case worker knocked, taking another deep breath and smiling as brightly as she could.
Wren wasn't so eager. She was, in fact, wishing she was still at the last home, even if they didn't want her. She clutched the back of the case worker's shirt and peered out at the door from behind her legs. Her knuckles turned quite as she gripped the cloth- she desperately needed something to hold on to.

Piper & Wren
Wren took in the girl with her big, blue eyes and then ducked her head back behind the case-worker. It wasn't that the girl scared her, it was how loud her voice was.
The case-worker smiled at the girl who opened the door. "Hi, this is Piper and Li-"
"Wren," the younger girl said softly. "Wren."
The case worker nodded. "And Lia, who prefers to be called Wren," he finished. "Is the owner of the home here?"
Piper smiled at the other girl. "Nice to meet'cha," she said brightly.
