What was it like before 'The Day The Server Died'?

Well... It was their TTT minigame that died, really.
I'll just tell the whole story.
A bunch of us TTT veterans had become a really tight-knit group of friends, and so we were extremely involved in everything TTT related because TTT was where we all met up. There was an amazing community and everyone was... they were all great.
Then, one day, the servers went down with a promise of "Oh don't worry, they'll be back up in a few days, we just need to do updates"
Months later, everyone had been asking over and over about it, and we heard that a TTT 2 would be going up "soon". By this time, our group of friends had been scattered as most of us had no way to communicate outside of TTT.
But when it finally DID go back up...
It was horrible, nothing like the TTT we had all known and loved. Some of us were okay with it, but most hated it. And so, some of us have never met again.
I still miss them all, save for the friends I had on Skype and the ones that I have just recently re-tracked down. So this is why I dislike Minecade.

On a slightly more related topic, I built the Eiffel Tower on Minecraft using a tutorial I found on YouTube, if anyone wants to see it :,D

Aww man that's terrible!

Reminds me of the time I join a server and went on creative mode, I met this random guy who was building the Great Wall of China and a villlage (omg it was so awesome) he then saw me and asked if I wanted to help and I agreed, he then cleared his plot and said lets begin (I can't believ he did that) anyway I'm skipping to the good part
We made a huge village called Modernville and it was awesome, we were currently working on the Quartz mall and the town hall but I had to log off (they kept working of course)

Then when I tried to log on it wouldn't let me
I still keep trying to this day


On a happierish note I finally finished the spawn on my MCPE server and when I opened it before you could say hi or even welcome, TNT was all over the place, spawn was on fire, my house was drenched in lava...

Why can't nice people ever join my servers?

if you're talking about duping, i totally use my ipod and my phone and dupe everything. i gave myself a full double chest of diamond blocks. x3
