The vet grabs his horse and mounts him. He rides the gelding over to the boy and says, "Lead on." The vet spots a girl next to a filly in the field and knows that he will have to go to the filly also.

Star looks at the mare and takes a few steps toward the woman.

Liz frowns and says, "You need to stay down, Lilly. You will just hurt yourself more."

Lilly falls back down nickering pitifully.

Liz starts to hum a calming tune to calm the distressed and frightened filly.

Fabian leads the vet the the little meadow by the forest. He jumps Off the bike and runs over.

The vet follows the boy on his gelding. As he nears the mare with colic, he stops his horse and quickly goes over to her.

Star whinnies nervously and flattens her ears as the vet approaches.

"She's nervous" he warned the vet. "She won't even let me near" he adds.
"I don't think she likes me that much though"

The vet slowly approaches the mare, to keep her from spooking

Star continues to watch the vet.

Fabian held the vets gelding. He patted it and tied it to a nearby stile. He walked slowly over to Star.

The vet gets to Star and puts a calming hand on her as he examines her. He frowns slightly and asks the boy, "What all has she done since my last visit?"

"I don't know. She just leapt a metre forty fence and then galloped into the forest" Fabian said sarcastically rolling his eyes.
