First saddle

She has her whole head and one hand in the water trough when I come to get her. Narali is watching her with his head cocked to the side from the other end of the field. I just sigh and shake my head.
“Valkyrie honey, come here. We are going to try the saddle now,” I call, her ears twitch, but nothing else. I sigh again.
“If you come now maybe we can go down to the lake if you want,” that makes her whole body jerk up and for her to come running so fast the water on her sprinkle around her like if it was raining. I chuckle and turn around and begin walking back to the stable. She follows me and I can’t help but smile, it’s nice when she gets so enthusiastic, otherwise she always so shy. I can hear her coming up closer behind me. I chuckle when she tries to hide her head in my hair, even if I’m so much smaller than her.

I open the stable door and she follows me in, the saddle is already on her box door. Valkyrie goes and sniffs on it for some time, but lets me take it. She then lies down and turns toward me with her head cocked to the side like if she was waiting, first I just blink, but I shake my head and places the saddle on her back and fasts some buckles, she sniffs on it again but ignores it. I smile and take it of again, we have a lake to get to.
