How would you guys feel if we did a draw the character above you? Would you participate?

Great idea but it'd be hard to keep control of. Imagine if someone posts a character and 5 different people start drawing it, but the one who gets it posted first is the one who puts the least effort. That means that the person doing quick half-hearted sketches would be getting to post more (and therefor receive more art) than those who actually try hard.

It seems there are too many ways for people to get upset :/

Anyway, I have some toyhou.se codes I'd love to trade for CS WL stuff. Please PM me or send a trade over if you're interested c:

And once people wil just see where there reserve spots taken them and the post above them is the character they have to draw it's really not that hard at all xD

Ahh this sounds like a really fun idea actually! o v <

There would definitely need to be some rules set of course. Say someone posts and an artist draws out a full piece... but then someone else was also drawing a piece and posts theirs first? Then you have an artist who can't post because they were too slow! So you'd have to have a system where people would say "claim!" or something similar so you know they're gonna draw the character above them. There'd also have to be a regulation on how often someone could post, as those that are really quick at drawing might exploit this chance to post a ton and receive a ton of art!

You also have the off-chance that someone doesn't complete their art even though they posted to claim. In this case you'd really have to have enough staff monitoring the transactions so no one's left without a piece in return! I've seen systems that do this and it's really a hassle haha... even if you say something like you can't expect art in return, people will, and rightfully so.

Another thing is that individuals might be picky with the quality of the art pieces they receive. I think any gift is just a blessing! But I've talked with people who think they should get a piece with as much effort put in as what they put out. Like an equal exchange of sorts, where people of the same skill level or who put in a large amount of time get the same in return! It's really hard to formulate a system where this works, so I'd just advise people not to join if they're going to be picky with what they get haha ////

So it's a nice idea really, as long as you make sure all potential problems are thought of and worked around!

What do you mean they would never? A good rule could be they cannot reserve another post UNTILL after the drawn character is in the there reserved post.so UNTILL everyone is done drawing it would be against the rules for them to post again, and if they did people would just skip/ignore those who double reserve without finishing there first reservation post.

Some people might just exploit this as an opportunity to get free art!
Even if you employed this method, it would be a lot of work for everyone to go through the pages and see who completed their art or not... ergo, as I said in my post, it'd be a faulty system and really hard to keep track of uwu/
