I heard a yelp and blinked. I ran towards the sound and saw the wolf. " oh my gosh." I went down next to the wolf and checked it " hang on, it's going to be ok." I said. I looked to thee car and growled as it went passed. idiots! I doubted a vet could do anything but I had to do something. my hands were shaking and I grabbed out my phone. " it's going to be ok." I said softly, petting the wolf and smoothing down her fur. how I knew it was a girl, I had no idea. it just....smelt like a girl. I let the police know a wolf had been hit, doubting that they would do anything, and put the phone aside. carefully I pulled the wolf in my lap and inspected it, smoothing it's fur carefully. " just keep breathing, keep with me, it's ok"
