Storm watched the little foal lick the wounds but then he turned his head to Ginger that came towards them.

Storm heaved his head towards Nieva. He snorted quietly into her ear before brushing his head against her neck.
'We are alive, that's important.'

Nessa watched Storm whispering and nuzzling her mother. She felt an odd sense of jealousy and lay down next to her mother, hoping the taste of blood in her mouth would disappear soon.

[Faint]

'I just hope that the herd is fine and if Nieva can make her way back home then we will set off tomorrow.'
Storm felt his sides heaving with sweat and could feel his feet sinking into the sand.

Mahogany shook her mane, looking silently at the unknown stallion. She turned her neck away from the horse.

[bonjour.]

Nieva sighed happily and looked at Storm, she looked at his sweaty body and a flash on worry appeared in her brown eyes. With a moan she scrambled awkwardly to her feet and rested on hoof off the ground, flashing a weak smile at Storm. "I might be injured but I'm not dead." she chuckled.

[Faint]

Storm smiled nuzzling Nieva.
'Shall we go home?'

Nieva smiled and looked up at Storm. "I think we should." she said softly and looked down at Nessa. "Come on." she flicked her tail and sighed at the long journey home.

Storm stayed by Nieva at all times. The sand dunes would only make their trip worse, but they had to get home. Storm could only think of his herd and of Felicity.

Nessa trotted behind her mother, ready to try and catch her if she fell. she was silent as storm stayed close by her and mixed emotions flew through her.

Nieva took painful steps. She stumbled now and then awkwardly hitting into Stomr, she sighed an looked at him. "I'm sorry." she whispered and tried to right herself.
