He had little choice but to submit to Kestrial's urging him onto the berth. He sat down on it, but he refused to lie down. " That is unnecessary," he assured. "I have faith in your skills, Kestrial, but I believe it would be unwise of me to fall into recharge while on duty. To be loyal to Lord Megatron, I do not believe I should be slacking."

"rest isint slacking, if you dont rest then youll fall asleep working again. i am not lugging you to bed again" she crossed her arms

"I do not fall into recharge on duty often enough to take that into consideration," Shockwave argued. Perhaps it was logical to rest, but he also found it illogical to recharge at a time where he needed to both fix a control board, make sure Kestrial remained stable, and also remain forced to play medic until he or someone else found Knockout. "I assure you that I will remain functional until nightfall," he assured.

She parted from Dark Sky with a goodbye before going into the room, still rather intent on finding any cameras or listening devices she would not care to have around.

Shockwave would have narrowed his optic if he were able. "I hope you understand that it is not in your authority to direct me," he reminded, making to stand. "Besides, recharging is not as simple as just taking a command and lying down. Step aside," he instructed, realizing that Kestrial was standing in such a way that standing would not be easy.

"Kestrial, there are far too many hours left in the day for me to rest," he insisted. Just knowing that the control panel needed repairing was maddening. He was almost growing distressed. "Now, step aside," he reiterated more firmly, tempted to shove her aside.

she huffed and stepped aside "im letting you sleep standing up this time"
